Work boats are the only improvement worth building in advanced start meta is what I understand. Give everyone or no one a choice of improving fish or clams.

@Longbows: We could give the units the command "do not move for 500 turns". This can be done directly in the Platy Worldbuilder (if included) or over a script by hand.

Cairo was adamant about no pre-placed barb cities frown

OKAY! I whipped this up somewhat fast, and i THINK that i got all the strategics ( not that i see them hitting space ) where they should be. Here are the various screenshots of the map, with the last one being the middle of the map that i added to after the other screenshots were taken due to balance reasons.

Start 1's area and a smidge of start 6's. Most of this was pre-placed by the map script, and other than changing the start tiles to being on plains hills... most of my changes were border region related.

Start 2.

Start 3 and smidge of start 4.

Start 5. Which im just seeing now, needs Coal and Oil added.

Middle area and the islands i created in between screenshots.

So coal and oil for Start 5.     Anything else im missing? Anyone remember the command to swap between AI leaders to more easily make screenshots? Or is that not possible in mods... i SWEAR i have chipotle enabled..

Take everything I say with about a million grains of salt as I is green. The overall map shape is exactly what I pictured in my head for PB51 funny enough. However, with this being smaller, the spokes are skinny. Is that going to prevent a lot of maneuvering during wars? Does it matter / is that just expected with smaller maps?

EDIT: I purposefully am not commenting on balance, as again I am not qualified (except to complain about my own starts crazyeye  )

The hope is that most of the fighting/main fighting would be done on the outer edge rather than thru the middle at least till late game.

I will write more as soon as I'm at my PC, but start 2 starts on a grassland hill instead of a plains hill
