"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. [Image: noidea.gif] In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

I don't know about you, but I'm not liking that start. Clams and Cows are not enough food for a capital imo. Even with the lake and the whales.

Move scout NE and potentially settle ON the Sugar?

Possibly, could make dot-mapping later more of a challenge. I like the idea of a second city on the plains hill 1N of the sugar.

But settling in place would pretty much require a work-boat first start, which sucks imo. Or a civ that lets us to go AH right away, which also sucks.

Grabbed Egypt because Wheel/Agriculture + UU.

I should have some time to make a sim-sorta and test out if SiP or Sugar, or something else is worth doing. Although it might all change depending on what the scout sees

Thoughts on a leader? I was thinking Catherine's Imp/Cre for easy quick expansion followed by the bloodlust that has been voted on... but im open to ideas.

Well, I do think that IMP/CRE are the best traits in the game. But there's no real long-term econ trait there. So as long as Catherine gets you more land than everyone else, it's great.

Went with settling on the sugar. AH-Mining-BW and maybe churn out like 2-3 WC's to go hunt someone? The lurkers DID demand blood...

Not too lush and not too barren. About a mid point between pb59, and pb58 id say. Ive wandered quite a ways with my scout in one direction but havent found anyone yet. Which.... makes me slightly sad as the lurkers wont get the destruction at the earliest date.
