I spent a good hour debating which way to move the warrior. In the end I opted for SW because I thought this would reveal more tiles for a decision to settle, although my other thought was to move him NW to see if he a resource along the coast. I don't know why, but I spent a hefty bit of time debating after moving the warrior on moving the Settler once more. I couldn't help feeling that settling on the PH was going to be a bad dot map position. In the end I settled because I felt I probably needed the safety of a hill defence if Ruff starts sending Barbs in my direction.

My C&D department told me that everyone else settled this turn.

we are up to Turn 13. I shall update shortly. Spent far too much working on my C&D and have got very little from it banghead

Actually, i'm just trying to stir up some posts. This setup is interesting enough that i'd enjoy seeing how it changes the gameplay. i posted in nakors thread too. nono

[SIZE="3"]Turn 2 to Turn 13[/SIZE]


Well I do have various map shots, but I don't see the point in dripfeeding you turn by turn map. Basically I headed NW and circled round anticlockwise of my border staying within close vacinity of my capital in case of any barbs appearing. There were a few chance moves where I moved further away but it appears my risk paid off

As you have probably spotted from the map, we have barbs to our NW. Over the past few turns there has been a barb caravel sailing in and out of my borders.

They also founded Hinduism rolleye didn't realise barbs could get religious lol

In game I met Serdoa last turn. I sent a polite email offering greetings and a short term NAP as I didn't want to backtrack my warrior covering his every move due to me just completing a worker. Fortunately I got a quick response back this morning and him being short of time offered me a 20turn NAP so we can continue to build and scout in peace. Result flower

C&D tells me that Nakor settled right from the off but everyone else settle the very next turn.

Ellimist and I get a 5 turn tech (me hunting / i'm assuming the same as min soldier points increased to 4k

Serdoa completes an 8 turn tech - probably be mining but could be pottery. ruffs damn barbs aer really screwing up the average calcs to be better prositioned

Nakor completes a 11 turn tech. The only thing I can think of that takes that long off the bat has to be BW unless someone is playing funny buggers with the research.


Only time will tell I suppose

Nothing too much to report really. Warrior continues to circle the lands counter clockwise. Serdoa's warrior continues to the South. He did have an opportunity to snatch a worker but then that would make him a NAP breaker nono

The barbs got Confucianism on the interturn yikes so thats 2 x religions now. I wonder if Ruff set a Liberalism path before signing off - teched mysticism and then automatically set future techs huh

The only other C&D that I spotted was that Serdoa secured a 5t tech - i'm putting him down for Hunting on that one.
