Is that character a variant? (I just love getting asked that in channel.) - Charis

It looks nice and is well made. Good job! thumbsup

Personally, I think i'd prefer to see the initial blobs even smaller still. This forces them to stretch out early onto the arms and encouraging early pink dots/warring more than just a peaceful expansion. I'm a bloodthirsty lurker though :neenernee

so you'd sweeten the land bridges a bit more scooter? ... thats certainly something thats doable (looking at it, the deserts is a bit to dry still)

Kyan ... you have to keep in mind that they'll have at least 5 fronteer cities, so they have to have some 'safe' territory to atually get out of the stone age in

Yeah, need to have the bridges much more attractive...we want them to be the lushest points, not the driest.
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.

I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out.

Yeah basically what Commodore said. In line with my one complaint about PBEM36, I think large swaths of uninhabitable land is a bad idea. The land bridges aren't totally uninhabitable, but most of it is. Toning down and/or shrinking the mainland while making the land bridges more attractive would probably make for a more interesting game. All in my opinion - but that would be my opinion if I was playing.

okay then ... sweetend the bridges

yes it is ... its not like its hard to get there through ... either an coastal city with expanded borders or the capital gone to 4'th ring ... both should be done by the time the resources out there are useable

Quote:I haven't look at resource placement and such, I can run it through my balancing tool though if you upload a non-corrupt worldbuilder file.

I can try to reupload the newest ... then again, given that its mirrored (top row is turned 180* from the buttom row but otherwise similar) it shouldn't say anything wrong ... everyone is to start on the blob irons

Yeah I like that a lot better.

Desert bridges are good now, but the tundra and jungle bridges still suck badly. IMO add more resources and mix in some plains to the tundra bridges, and add rivers, resources, and some grassland to the jungle bridges.

One other thing, I didn't look too carefully but it looks like there's enough happy resources for everyone to have 1 of each. That is way too much IMO.

better?

Seven ... everyone can get one of each unless they're slow, you believe i should remove some of the resources all together? ... 'cause i'm honestly not confident enough in my mapmaking abilities to make resource destribution asymmetrical
