RB greatest Pbem, and I am in it.

Well , lets hope Serdoa will not prove me wrong and finish ahead of me in this game.

Now lets talk a litle about leader picking. As you many know I consider ORG one of the best traits in the game(actualy i consider its the best), well i supose thats makes me a noob, but Org has a big - and thats is : its start shining just after city 3-4 depending on dificulty level and world wrap and combined with a trait like Industrious(which again i like alot) gave you a slow start.Rememer in pbem 29 i was behind so much time that some lurkers(dont remember which ones) said that Novice and Seven should play just one against another maybe just with Krill playing along them, like in the end same lurkers to say well the leader combination won the day(which its partialy true).
But seeing that in this game dificulty level will be maybe noble or prince i intend to gave up Org which i picked in too many games, and will try a trait which i used just in medieval start.Yes I am talikng about Imperialist.

I must be crazy I know when others will use Pacal, Whilem or others good leader to use a imperialist.

What IMP leaders are you looking at, or, what do you intend to pair it with? If there's no leader restrictions you're sure to have your pick of whichever you want. smile

Imperialistic - I like the idea. Should be competitive in your hands. Joao or Catherine would give strong openings. Victoria wouldn't be bad either.

Serdoa often makes surprise picks and Seven might willingly handicap himself a bit with a bit lower level leader so it might be that picking isn't going the usual India - Pacal - Willem - Inca route before us.

I supose the start its still the one we see...

From the use i'm getting of it in pbem45, i can give a thumbs up to IMP and Victoria in particular. Especially if you plan on whipping settlers.

I am not braging here that I am so good that doesnt mater what civ leader i pick and if i will get a good place in snake pick , I will not be asahmed to get India, Inca or other good civ but i will stik with imperialist becasue i think its not that weak.
So my toughts are:

India i will go with Victoria as pindicator sugested:choping , building lots of cities improving fast.

Inca i think its clear Jao its the best.Expansiv teraces.

Sumeria i kind fill Catherine will be excelent.Zigurats earlier and a bit cheaper.

What you think about this analizes?

Good thinking. Apparently you're 1st in pick order so I guess Inca or India then.

You right about whiping in your case but you seen this capitol? I dont think whiping will be the right think to do.

What we have here?

At size 5 we can get 14 production so towards we will have like 21 hamers turn and 1 from food so 22 turn so a 3 turn setler or a
3 turn worker so growing to size 5 its a realy good thing and go from there.

Just one situation can make to not grow first to 5 and thats its finding a very near by gold resource with some good food, then I maybe start a setler at size 1, becasue getting some research early its critical for me.
