I'd like to see my food before holding my nose and picking one of these awesome leader/civ combos.




Map stuff:

36x36 with 6 players and 29% water means 216 total tiles each. 154 land tiles including peaks and deserts.

So even with tight spacing ~10 cities per player.

Shrines are a lot less attractive when they have a max value of ~10gpt

Capitals will be around 12-14 tiles apart.

I apologize for the delay, and the controversy. I know there is a split vote on seeing your food resources... that sucks for everyone.

My goal is for you players to have fun, and starting on equal footing is part of that. I will make a similar post in each thread. I will take the heat if folks get mad.

Yeah, it's a kind of obscene, in all seriousness. Moving the settler 1W is kind of like a wet dream setup. Asoka in particular would just murder with this; capital 1W, 3rd ring gets the wet wheat for the expansion...yikes.

This doesn't look like the start for Lincoln of Aztec unfortunately.

I totally want to take "Whip 'Em Hard" Lincoln but Lighthouseable Lake Fish.....

Julius of Viking or Asoka of dutch do quite well settling 1 w.

KHAN does ok settling 1 E with a fast worker/warrior/settler to grab the fish with city 2.

Spain on an Uber-Lake also has potential.


Or any of the above and SIP.

Sip means no LH for the Capital, but keeps the WET Wheat and saves a turn and a forest. There is a least one legal coastal site that can steal the Fish from the capital.
