I was thinking just an open one. If people wanna do gunboat that would be fine too, but people have already announced themselves in the thread here so that defeats the purpose-ish.
So looks like we'll likely get enough people to play a game as of now, signups so far look like
1. Scooter
2. Twinkletoes
3. Dtay
4. Rowain
5. Cyneheard

I was thinking that an assignment system like the one rego used for the gunboat game would suffice, unless someone has a method they deem 'better'.
Anything else to discuss for setup/settings i'm missing?

I'm in unless someone strongly objects because them hating me could ruin the game. For example a war between Germany and Austria seldom works well.

Would prefer full diplo, but gunboat is fine if people want a faster game.

True, but with this list of players, i really doubt any of these people will be dropping out midgame on us.
