Never done this before, so take with a pinch of salt!
Egypt has no Aluminium (china has 3x and Zulu 2x but probably less important) - shouldn't it be no Uranium for Commodore...
China has no duplicate Happiness resources available to trade, otherwise balance seems reasonable.
Zulu have an extra capital food resource, Egypt will get a Food bonanza once Calendar unlocks the Bananas, otherwise seems within tolerance.
Ivory probably needs to be balanced for Base BTS; Sumeria & Zulu have guaranteed access, but the others will be contested / distant.
Northern civs have small just-about private islands available, Southern pair just share the big island between them. You might want to split it into two and move the Eastern half a bit closer to Mali.
In General, Egypt's lands seem the lushest - with no Desert or Tundra within expansion range - while Mali seem to have it worst, but may have the additional commerce resources to support the uni-directional expansion.

Here's the output from my tool.
- Overall I think its pretty good; I echo Dreylin's comments about resources.
- From the looks of things, AT's start gets the most land by a fair bit; it might be worthwhile to trim that a little bit. Possibly by:
- Egypt's area does indeed lack any "bad" ice/desert area nearby, like the other starts; I suggest adding some desert in the region around 41,19, which would put Egypt into more contention with AT. Egypt is also a bit greener than the other areas. (which you can see if you turn off the empire overlay and also click off all the resources, trees, etc, so a few extra plains scattered around could help.
- Mali's starting area is absurdly hilly compared to the other starting areas. The huge desert to their start's north could be trimmed a bit too.

Did they ban GLH, or are we headed for PBEM66 territory again??

Just got this PM from DTG:
Quote:Hi GermanJoey,
I am not sure if this is kosher on RB, but do you think you could post the following message in all four PBEM 70 threads:
"A player has PM'd me to suggest that a concession may now be the best way to end this game. If you would like to concede, please state so beneath this post, and specify the player to whom you wish to concede. If you believe that you are winning, that you are still able to win, if you are uncertain, or if you are still enjoying the game and would simply like to continue playing, please state that instead.
Please be advised that you should only concede if you believe the game winner is already decided. Do not concede just because you are somewhat behind, and do not concede just because you have received this message."
Or, if you think this is too much, could you check the other three threads to see if Bob/Alhazard/Commodore have already said that they're willing to concede? I'm a long way ahead, but I'm not sure if any lurkers are keeping an eye on all four threads, so it's possible that the others have given up privately, but are reluctant to do so in the tech thread.
Thanks,
–DTG
Al is the only holdout AFAIK, as he just said, as recently as 4 days ago, "I am not ready to concede just yet." But then DTG clobbered him to lib, so who knows how he's feeling now.

I support how you've handled that pm, GJ. Definitely not kosher to initiate concession discussions in that manner.
(Not following this at all, Bob asked me to check whether or not everyone wanted to concede.)
