Spi saves 1 turn off the bat from slavery.. And other late game fun. Otherwise it makes mids more attractive.. Interesting. Exp makes for a fairly quick early game. Izzy is looking not bad

In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."-Old Harry. PB48.
Isabella seems like a good option. Good mid-game eco. If we can get to currency and compass we should be all set economically. Decent early game with our hammer heavy start. The capitol should have no problems churning out workers with plains hill pig, cow, ivory (9 hammers + 3 exp hammers + 5 food surplus = 17).
A bit lacking in military, somewhat compensated by the ability to switch into war civics. Hard to quantify spiritual but we will be extremely flexible. An early religion would make spiritual significantly better with happy and culture but we do not have the best techs for it We could aim for serfdom hammer economy with wind/watermills for mid game hammers. It is on the beeline to guilds, fit with spiritual and big cities. The capitals land looks good for it: 3 hills and 4 river tiles to mill.

Those are very good combos. The combo I rate the lowest is mister Cairo's. Seems weak in both hammers and military. Not a lot of synergy either, would have preffered every other leader in the group with Sumeria and especially Saladin and Isabella.
They seem oriented towards peaceful development early. We will have to fight to keep up economically.

[/img]Seeing gold already.. Interesting. we have a decent city site to the north of the cap sharing pigs and working clams + cottages for the cap. However, im going to TRY and save that for maybe 3-5th city just attempt to get as much land as possible. TGLH is top priority for the future. Im thinking we should have 5-6th city be for the gold, depending on how much food/land ect is to our east. TGLH/Colossus will be top priority for everyone, however i dont mind taking it off of a neighbor with numids Going to try and avoid early blunders + having enough workers which EXP should help make them less of a chore to build.

Looking at the choices again, there was ALOT of CRE chosen. Even more reasons to get settling asap to get culture on tiles before CRE takes all the land that rightfully belongs to us! Considering my luck in PB38 with neighboring rusten, BGN, Dtay, Dreylin, and TBS.. Im sure ill be surrounded by the max amount of land neighbors. When i get done eating ill do some actual simming with what land we have revealed right now.

About creative. The trick will be to get the culture efficiently. I see two ways for us. 1) With so many creative players and no ind players Stonehenge might be available quite late. We could probably chop it in our capital after city 3. 2) Get an early religion. Also helps with happiness but we will face much more competition:
Rusten is SPI like us. He starts with mysticism/hunting and should probably get a religion quite early (depending on worker techs needed). Cairo is Sumeria and will head in that direction to unlock ziggurats. BGN/Xenu will have a strong hammer start but no clear way of getting culture. Could be a competition for both. Donovan. Hannibal of Ottomans probably have other plans.

[/img][img] [/img]Well,... thats a damn close neighbor. Plus it happens to be Both Commodore ( whom might have a small grudge for the pb38 settler kill ) and pro mali.. So no chance of taking him out nice and early. It looks like we are going to be squeezed pretty tight by CRE/PRO Mali. Im torn between a couple ideas.Idea 1- We try and box them in as much as possible with great city plants while teching to numids? Idea 2- We contain them to their relative area, but use most of the chops/whips towards TGLH. Idea 3- #warriorrush? Also, we are in need of a naming scheme.. Any ideas?
