still feel that this is significantly worse than GKC's, whose corn is riverside and who gets a PF deer on top. But the extra food for greens makes it more understandable. Plemo counted as such? Apparently his victory ratio on civforum is 2/2. Well Netherlands still looks like a daring pick to me. Whom does he neighbour? GKC, Ramk, and Grillo? (as per the shot from the sim you posted).

As a general rule I would definitely suggest against going for any wonder before 2nd city.

Yes, but I think it's the only way to take profit of the 50% wonders bonus. The possible cities are far from my neighbors so the unique risk is an invasion.  I could solve that by making arkery and going with bowmans for the new city.

Btw, who did you give extra food and who were considered favorites? Too lazy to go through the starts..

Well, there seems to be conflict and decision making (two second city plants on copper, I think?), so I feel the map is doing its job nicely .
