Game is unwinnable, and it was from T0. I'm going to be mailing the turns in from now on, but I'll do a turn report for this turn, and I will not bother doing any more.
Brick, I think you need to run the map through novices map analyser/balancer thing, to show why. I also think you should have rerolled this map: just because we asked for a random map, doesn't mean you pick the first one you roll. Sorry you got the bad roll. You could always aim for your own kind of "victory" -- easier said than to put onto practice, but one thing i've learned in my current two games is there are ways to still get enjoyment our of a game even if you have no chance at winning

Normally would do, but the whole point of this game was to play with Seven and Serdoa and the others and, you know, have a fucking game that would be competitive. It's T24 once I hit end turn. I wonder if anyone would consider ditching this one.
To put this into context, I have 3 city sites that are mine beyond the capital. I can't even get the Full BFC of two of them, settled 3 tiles from the capital, because the other players are so close, and the two huge seas block expansion in the other directions. I think there is either a bug, or Seven broke the start location generator. |
