The settler for red dot just completed and has been sent underway. I'm starting a forge in the capital, possibly interrupting it for another settler. You want a worker before that? Do you concur with the forge for now while it grows? Dirty dishes is producing a warrior, only thing it can produce while growing.

Oh sorry I thought you meant you had completed the red dot settler then immediately started another one. Forge is good in the capital, hammers wont decay for a while anyway. We definitely need several more workers though, probably at leaast 7 before founding the 5th city.

Sorry for not forwarding the save, emergency came up and I had to run. Will forward it now.
Decision time: How many warriors do we want? Our copper is not hooked up yet, so we can still produce warriors. How soon do we want advanced units, and how many? I'm guessing we'll want to put a spearman or an axeman in the tundra soon. For now, I've ordered a warrior down there to guard our settler.
Also, horses have arrived! They're down by the sheep to the SE, not quite where we expected to find them. Location seems to differ a bit from from player to player, dazed is able to hook up both copper and horses with one city.

What do you mean forwarding the save? I've been getting them automatically from the tracker.
Warrior totals- 5 or 6? I'd ideally like to have at least one real unit by the time we found tundra city (5th) because that's the first city in a contested area.

I meant I didn't send the save earlier, had to run in a hurry. Should still be fine for the day, if Sian is able to play it soon. We have 2 warriors + 1 exploring currently, with one being produced next turn. Dirty Dishes needs something to do next few turns while growing, so np with building a few more. We definitely need another worker urgently, maybe in Jaw Hurting since it has few good tiles to work anyway. Red dot will need lots of improvement.
Macro-wise, we will have more happiness than we have use for very soon. That doesn't really match our specialist plans, especially if we also whip. How should we go about that? Seems like we lose out either way.

Oh I see, thats cool.
DD on warrior production sounds good, as does JH building a worker (although we need to make sure it produces a workboat for city 4 by the time mids come in).
Dealing with happiness, I would growthe capital to max size (possibly the health cap?). The capital has pretty good production anyway, so we don't particularly need to slave there. Working the two floodplains, corn, pastured cows, 3 grass hills and the plains hills gets us the production, that leaves us a +4 food surplus with which we can work two specialists. If we want the capital to do more research then we should cottage the plains river tiles and work a couple of them instead of some of the mines. That would allow an additional spec to be worked as well.
I'm not entirely sure what to do with the other cities though, we'll probably have to take it on a case by case basis.

I think I'd want to skip the plains hill mine in favour of another specialist. A Rep engineer is far better than 4 hammers: -2 hammers, +3 beakers, +6 GPP. I ordered JH to build the WB first, btw. We can whip it next turn and quickly grow back to size 2, letting red dot city work the fish from the start. Since we're a bit short on worker manpower down there at the moment, that's good timing.

We may want to hold the whip to allow max overflow into the worker, I don't believe red dot can actually work the fish until a border expansion anyway.

Turn left at the roundabout 2nd exit
1300bc saw the founding of our 4th city, currently named Seoul because I forgot to rename it. We are the third empire to four cities behind Dazed and Sian.
The new city is currently stagnating building a granary until the great engineer comes along and allows a border expansion pyramids style. Thinking about it now we probably should have founded another city before this one.
We are also now the proud owners of everyones graphs
Hopefully once the pyramids come in and we actually grow some of our cities a bit more, we wont seem to be doing so crap. If any lurkers want any other information feel free to ask (and simultaneously boost our post count )

Ouch, that is some bad timing. I suppose we conveniently forgot to think about border limitations in the new city I'm officially starting to worry about our graphs now, I fear that we've fallen a bit behind. Nothing that can't be salvaged, but those crop yields are just so sad to look at.
