theres your problem ... Civ can't be blamed for having perfect coding, one of the issues (beyond the memory leaking) is that overwriting a save when playing Pbems makes the save invalid

Delete the corrupted save and play again

Whenever you end turn you may notice that the game says "Paused by <your name goes here>". That's normal.

was hoping we'd make it arround yesterday (was so close!). I'm traveling today - re-installting civ on my tablet so I can play the save - should have it done soon... given no technical difficulties.

ugh forgot the .iso i had was 3.13. I had to download the 3.19 patch, which was painful! anyway, the game has moved on.

wild: 0 hours 2 minutes passed since the save has been handed on.

anyway - every time i get a chance to play early in the morning, i keep hope that we can swing back to our normal time slots, but it never happens smile just wanted to give a heads up - if this happens tomorrow, I won't be able to play until my normal slot.

uhh i lied - i can play... BUT I have a serious problem with the save I got. As it involves a potential misclick (who knows?!) on my part, I am going to ask the global lurkers in my thread what protocol should be in this situation.

I'm not sure we have a usual protocol. Just my opinion, but I think it's reasonable to replay from the previous turn if the other players agree, and if there wasn't any important random occurrence that might be undone by replaying.

Please note that in a PBEM, you can check the state of all your cities after you end turn and the production phase occurs, to catch problems like this before you send the save.
