Notice a bright spot on the map away from our culture and discovered 2Pac01 was standing in Nakor/Gaspar's city of Heitinga, have sent the following apology:

OK, Horse-Back riding is now complete & I clicked on Replaceable Parts. At 0% tech it calculated the following path:

Machinery [21 turns] -> Alphabet [11] -> Theology [17] -> Guilds [39] -> Paper [24] -> Banking [31] -> Printing Press [63] -> Replaceable Parts [78]

Considering it's basing the timings on the current overflow, that's going to take a very long time, the game will be over by then ... so, I upped the tech to 30% [which was only -2 G/turn] and got these figures:

Machinery [5 turns] -> Alphabet [3] -> Theology [5] -> Guilds [9] -> Paper [6] -> Banking [7] -> Printing Press [15] -> Replaceable Parts [17]

This was calculated manually, still takes a total of 67 turns until we can build Lumbermills, but that time could come down once we get the tech discounts as I'm sure a lot of the others will have completed these by now. BTW, I doubt that will be the actual tech order determined by the game, but we'll see.

I may change the plan to include Optics [6 turns @ 30%] after Machinery, depends on how quickly UltimoMomento grows and whether it needs the Whale tile improved soon.

Ooh, at end of turn the G/turn went from -2 to +2 ... probably as a Courthouse completed in BackInBlack [ironically lol]

Other news, the first of 7 Fast Workers from Kyan appeared near SheWolf [renamed to Scooby01] My plan is for them to swarm around SheWolf & WakaWakaShaka only.

So, Whosit did not accept Open Borders ... surprise ... oh well, his Axeman will have to go the long way round, or head back down south ... at least he can't see the 2 new Scoobies from Kyan [3 down, 4 to go]. Great Scientist is now heading to Dover.

Missionary built in WakaWakaShake this turn is heading to EyesLikeYours [Settler building - as road already in place, will settle DreamsForPlans site north of SheWolf and link up culture to UltimoMomento]. Another Missionary, built at end of turn in BackInBlack, will head to AnimalCity to boost production there.

Settler & Wyclef escort nearly at GoodStuff site, we'll have a culture fight over the Furs as Tredje's borders have popped, but hopefully it won't take too long to win.

Road nearly complete to both UltimoMomento and GoodStuff.

G/turn seemed to vanish this turn for some reason, but the Courthouse that built in HipsDontLie rectified that to +6G/turn!! 2 turns away from Courthouses in SheWolf & EyesLikeYours, so this can only improve again!!! tongue

Hmm ... still at peace.

First off ... Ernest Rutherford [Great Scientist] arrived at Dover, so now gifted to Kyan.

Courthouses built at end of turn in SheWolf & CazadorDeAmor. @40% tech we went from -5G/turn to +7G/turn - I calculate that 8G came from the savings with the Courthouses, maybe a Cottage, or two, grew into a Hamlet etc, to explain the rest.

Notice I'm not talking about the South-East lake? I've struck a deal with Kyan, he will settle where I had Timor planned, -makes sense as his culture has already over-run the Rice tile and he will trade me the Incense that that site will encompass.

While the turn was in limbo with Gaspar, i had a long chat with Kyan on gmail. He sold me on the benefits of Bureaucracy. Therefore I am leaving the tech-path I've discussed so far, and ramping up the tech-rate, so we will complete Civil Service in 2 turns [70% @ -67g/turn] This will gives us access to Macemen [naming them PitbullXX] We also discussed the lack of hammer problem in CazadorDeAmor, I'm taking his suggestion to revert back to Slavery [thus allowing the whip to be used again rolf] So, in 2 turns, we revolt to Bureaucracy & Slavery(!)

Malakai was also on gmail; as we recently traded maps, he queried why I hadn't hooked up the Iron near Animal City ... Iron? Where? Well ... I had mooted it, but we will definitely tech Iron Working after Civil Service, at least we'll have access to Crossbowmen [SantanaXX ??? maybe] and it might be a 1 turn tech!

Hmm ... looks like we're close to becoming a UK-based alliance. Just hope I'm not the weakest link.

OK, still going to settle the 3 planned cities - GoodStuff settled this turn [yeah .. cocked up the maintenence for a short while] and the Settlers for DreamsForPlans & YourEmbrace completed at end of turn so will set off next time.

Ooh, and as advised by Kyan, the final 3 Scoobies [05, 06 & 07] finally reported for duty.

OK, Civil Service completed at end of term. Another Courthouse in place, only losing 63G/turn @ 70% tech [can do Iron working in 1 turn at 60%, maybe 50%, next turn] then we revolt to Bureaucracy & Slavery [and whip CazadorDeAmor back to the Stone Age ... it'll grow back very quickly though tongue] Plus a plethora of units built.

Iron Working in [@ 20% & +41G/turn] we can see the Iron tile Malakai mentioned, will be mined & hooked up shortly. Revolting next turn, then it's back onto that epic tech path to Replaceable Parts as previously planned!!

DreamsForPlans now down & YourEmbrace will be settled the turn after next.

The Shakiites are revolting!!! Yeah, I think that may be the opinion of the other players too rolf

But really, we've just taken a big step forward with Bureaucracy and a shuffle to the left, and slightly backwards, with going back to Slavery tongue

A few more units built ... getting quite a nice stack of Timbalands in a roaded, wooded area somewhere ... just hope no-one comes along with matches & a can of petrol - what, at these prices?!? lol

Tweaked the build queues so that Pitbulls will alternate with either Timbalands or BigWaynes; except in CazadorDeAmor [where we're building only Workers, too much overflow from the last chops to warrant using the whip so that city is being spoilt for the time being lol] and WakaWakaShaka [where we're building Buddhist Missionaries for the newer cities - not before time as Tredje's Taoism spread to GoodStuff at end of turn]

Have also raised tech-level to 40% [@ -1G/turn] to get Guilds in 4 turns. That'll improve the Workshops we put down at least.
