Hmm. A cryptic-maratime, early English Middle Ages. I think the artist is portraying the futility of technology in the ancient world combined with the arbitrariness of nature where only certain wooden vessels bearing specific flags are permitted to traverse water of a specific color. It is a bold political statement by the artist: If the world won't be colorblind, why should we?

What do you think would be his incentive to accept this?

Do you imply that Commodore understands only brute force and until I have double his power he will not accept any kind of peace? mischief If it is so, then I agree. smile This is why I have said "My last attempt". popcorn

No intent to imply anything; just trying to understand what your goal is.

My goal is to prove that Commodore cannot be negotiated with, there is no such concept in the Commodore's world. shakehead You see Commodore, you kill Commodore or you die. whip

Let me rephrase Dreylins question.

Why would you - were the situation reversed - accept this offer?

It would be a peace with the 2nd in power who has the crappiest land not worth conquering. The cities have little infra, cost more than they pay back and have no important resources. The worst case would be to take the cities back later, hopefully not with medieval units against castles, when I would have fixed my economy. popcorn

I told you. crazyeye But the question is may I accept the deal? I want to accept it. popcorn Lurkers to the rescue!
