[Spoilers] Adrien and Mardoc relax and play civ

Ok thanks the break will be welcome. And agg vultures aren't that scary against axes, we just didn't get any until it was too late.

Someone wanted to ask Fenn to stop sending us copper lol

Jowy sent off a lone Vulture to try to capture our worker; I was able to get a chariot to him and picked it off. Won't matter in the long run, of course, but every bit of hurt is a good thing.

Currently trying to figure out how to arrange a recapture of Triceratops without leaving the capital open. Step one is to get some of our roads rebuilt.

Good luck coming up with a plan. If you need me to play the turns again just say so. If not I'd rather you kept playing them

Fenn declared war on Jowy. No sign of any progress yet, but then it's probably too soon to see anything anyway.

We killed a Vulture and Spear, at the cost of two axes. Got a GG out of it, which will give us four more Shock Axes. Which in turn should give us a few more options for hurting Sumeria.

I still think the game is lost, of course, but if we can shred Jowy's retreating forces enough that Fenn wins the continent, I'd consider that a moral victory.

First good news in a long while. I skimmed over civstats this morning and saw Jowy take a city from us, did I hallucinate ?

Yeah, he took (edit: and razed) the city west of the capital with his main stack. Not good for us, but it does put him very far out of position against Fenn. And now that we have a bunch of Shock axes, I think there's a chance we may be able to prevent him from ever bringing that stack home.

Ah I suppose his next targets are the newest city to the northwest and horse city ? Then we'll be left with only the cap ? I really hope Fenn is able to do something. On the last turn I played his power was still around ours which is not sufficient to make a dent in Jowy's defense

Um, hard to say. Jowy moved the stack southward after razing our city, not north. Plus it's been shrinking.

Fenn's power has been climbing steadily. But the main question is what he made his army out of. If he's made it to ChoKoNu's, he'll absolutely shred Jowy. If this is another axe army...well, he might get a city or two.

Jowy offered straight peace. I rejected it, of course.

But then I made a counteroffer of peace for our three cities back. Debated whether that was quite fair to Fenn, until I noticed that if Jowy accepts, he traps his army on our side of culture. And I certainly wouldn't give him Open Borders.

Realistically I don't expect him to accept. We'll try to kill some more of his units, collect some XP, and look for opportunities. I don't know if I would actually take Triceratops if I could - don't think I can hold a flatland no-culture city. But I'm pretty sure Shock axes can kill some Vultures at good odds, anyway. Or we can retreat if we have to.

Edit: There is, however, the faintest chance that Jowy offers peace for Triceratops and Velociraptor. They're not worth as much to him as his core is, and I've demonstrated a credible threat. Not at all sure what we should do if that happens. I'd be inclined to accept; I think that would strengthen our position more than anything else in 10 turns could.

Raptor and Tri would be good to get back, plus with peace we could resettle a copper city (perhaps 1NW to have it first ring). For anything less I'm not sure what we'd gain.
