Looks like we're in for some pain if they want to choke us.
I think we may need iron before hbr/construction.
Going up against Impis with Wellies/HAs and Cats isn't my idea of a good time.
For the moment, we'll want about 50gp to finish Math (Verdant Acres will be a commerce sink for it's first few turns). So we save gold for a couple of turns and see what the Impis do.
Hopefully, they don't come much further and we can finish up Math/Sailing/IW/HBR/Const. But if they keep coming, we may need to go IW asap.

Oh-ho. Anyone notice something very very new about the world situation in this image?
Opted to avoid wolf-loss.

No...
Edit: Hmm... You somehow have TR with Azza, how does that work?

TR and no contact with Azza jumps out.
Interesting.
OB are available at Alp? in Krillmod?
Foreign OS trs would be nice, but not worth the diversion yet. Worth a WB heading north for a lookie see?
Assuming we don't need the hammers for a suicide Archer or 6 to get rid of Impis.

Well, those foreign TRs are a long time coming, you're right, because ABCs are a long way yet. Writing does enable map trades, so there is a chance he's met Scoopin and traded maps too. More likely, he's on that landmass we see north, which means the jungle land might be a bit contested.

Yeah...
No worries, we just gots teh build more archers and tech, yep, Iron Working. Scooter offered us a Cease Fire too, of all daft things. I think I'll offer a peace treaty for his world map. At least this means we're totes slowing these jackasses down.

Okay, now, this means war, not like it didn't mean war before, but I'd rather conquer them utterly and piss in their salted ashes before winning. I'm not angry, it's a fair hit and all, just going to be fun now. Thoth, working on this...axes, cats, and mammoths-with-big-honkin'-crossbows seem in order, how shall we fight probably the most competent economy team in the game?
I really am butterable, for future reference, folks. After all, in PB5 I wasn't willing to join Scooter in war against Regopin or Krill because he sold Gunpowder to my worst enemy while they'd been nice. I don't see how this could have been an accommodation but heck, they defend long enough for say Plako to hack me off and they could have hung out in East Australia scot free.
(Seriously, though, thank Vishnu it wasn't Plako here, he'd slaughter us)

Economy don't mean shit once we get to Axes/Cats/Wellies.
It's pure hammers and battlefield cunning after that.
