Lazteuq accepted peace, which was to be expected. As you can see he emptied his border cities like last time. I switched into some building infrastructure civics with serfdom and OR. Goal is to finish all the necessary theatres for Globe Theatre and start that national wonder itself. At the same time I invest some hammers into courthouses in other cities. Lowering maintenance and some extra espionage won't hurt.

But the most important event this turn for me and our continent is Miguelito declaring war on Mjmd. I really hope this is only a minor incident and not a major invasion. This is the reason why I left Mjmd alone and wanted him to be strong enough to defend or slow down Miguelito as much as possible. Hopefully Lazteuq won't see this as a cheap shot to take some of those inland islands. Everything that weakens Mjmd will work in favor of Miguelito and the downfall of our continent.

The war between Mjmd and Miguelito is a serious war, so much is sure now. I am willing to support Mjmd, but don't know how much I can do for him. I did send a small stack of knights in his direction, but military support will be small as I can't give up the defenses on my coastal cities. Luckily I'm on equal tech level as Miguelito in terms of land units, but behind on water. I'm also building a road towards Mjmd for two reasons. To better support him military and so that he had keeps foreign trade routes via my trade network. Lastly I went around and asked everybody to stop trading with Miguelito. I think this is the most I can do for Mjmd for now.

We'll see how many support the trade embargo next turn.

Well played Mr. Lazteuq well played. Looks like the peace treaty was a big mistake after all.

And Mjmd is also quickly falling apart. Now the only important question is will Ramk survive both his attackers in the end, which would be hilarious. lol

As for my part Superdeath requested gold for the embargo and everybody else except for Commodore denied the embargo. Looks like Miguelito is a very strong contender for winner of this PB. Note that this is not a concession. I still have way too much fun in this game and looking forward to being the thorn in Miguelito's side. After all we are (almost) on equal technologial footing. But I think I can not concede as much as I want as I may be irrelevant already. The only thing stopping Miguelito from winning right now is civac. Any future conflict between those two will decide the outcome of this PB. In any case I send Mjmd an appropiate message of support and moved knights into his direction. I doubt I can change anything there and with the speed of Miguelito's conquest there never was a chance for me to help Mjmd in any significant way.

Mjmd again asked for war against Miguelito and even Lazteuq noticed the danger at hand offering me fish for fish and both of us declaring war against Lazteuq. I returned that offer to Lazteuq, but then I noticed that DirtyOldTown from Mjmd is already being besieged and most likely being captured without my support. So being a good ally I joined Mjmd in defending against Miguelito. I do hope that Lazteuq joins in the war providing some naval support. But I think he has to join now or otherwise he will face a 1-continent-strong Miguelito in the not so distant future.

I moved my small knight stack in to defend Mjmd and I also managed to pick up some damaged Musketeers.

Now I have to admit that I may just have messed up the turn split. I know or think that I always played before Miguelito the last few turns, but looking at PBSpy I just noticed that Miguelito was in game before me this turn. I will contact Miguelito and Rusten to sort out the turn split. I don't really care on which have I am, which ever is better for the turn pace.

EDIT: I also just went in and asked civac to join the war. This might be his best chance to join the war and he may even overtake Miguelito. I know that this falls into king-making behavior, but I have no problem with that right now. After all we just want to defend our continent against an outside aggressor and that's our best option.

Miguelito told me he already moved everything in Mjmd-land so I will play after Miguelito.

And just now I remember that Mjmd still has a war running against Ramk. So right now 6 players are all entangled in a big war turn split disaster.
Now we only need the others to join in to make this a world war.

turn split disaster... lol

you guys know how to entertain the masses popcorn

IMO, a proposal is not "king making", I mean you're not inviting civac to take all your lands... and noone stops you from calling a few friends to stop the new leader in the future... a neverending massacre devil

Now we only need to add TBS to the conflict and with him we get 3 more players into the world war

Miguelito tried to buy me off with 500 gold, but I rejected. First because it's just one turn of 100% gold for me and second because I don't plan to keep Mjmd hanging for so few money. Lazteuq has not (yet) joined the war, but he accepted open borders so that I can move my galleys towards the Miguelito front via the inner sea. Civac also did not join (yet). I also discovered that Miguelito left one Mjmd city undefended and went in with my chariot.

Now this was somewhat surprising for me. I had expected that I get the option to liberate this city for Mjmd, but apparently he did not have any culture in it. To bad. I razed the city as to not let it fall into the wrong hands. Sorry Mjmd for that.

It looks like the front has somewhat stabilized and Miguelito retreated a stack that besieged Mjmd's new capitol of Cousin Jack. I now have my full knight stack behind the city as you can see and will look for easy targets.

Last but not least I got another Great Prophet in my capitol. With it I started my very first golden age. Yeah I know I'm late to the party. Thanks to the golden age I will be able to finish the Globe Theatre sooner and Military Tradition too. In fact I am the very first player to research that tech. That was unexpected too. You can expect the first courasiers being produced in 4 turns.

Miguelito tried to buy me off with 768 gold this time, but I rejected again. The offer is still to low. On with the defense of Mjmd.

Now Mjmd send me some diplo message I think. He asked for rice and horse. So I assume I should move towards either his former capitol or the city above. AllformeGrog was empty and I moved in with a knight expecting to liberate the city for Mjmd, but again the game did not give me the option for that. Seriously what is wrong here. I have to check the implementation for that. Seeing that I can't defend it I razed the city to hurt Miguelito more. Sorry Mjmd if you wanted to keep the city.

In Mjmd's capitol I found Miguelito's main army. Still too much to take for me but I will happily sacrifice my knights if they move out.

I also discovered that Mjmd used the Portugese UU to good effective settling the last astro island between Lazteuq and TBS. Which also hosts the origin point of this map.
