I have Iron Working, I believe that the screen only shows techs that he has which I lack. I think. All I know, is that the only one I have a tech edge on is GE. So... I really haven't been doing that well this game.

Um... nothing that new to report. Just got Printing Press, so hopefully that will boost my income a bit. Gonna pick up Nationalism so I can have a draft available, and get Gunpowder and, dunno, go for Cuirassiers maybe. Not sure. Got vision into a couple of GE's border cities. One of his new ones is poorly defended, of course. The one by the lake has a tone of Longbowmen. I'm thinking that when I launch an offensive, I'll just punch through his more weakly defended cities, and keep a force by the lake that can stop/slow down a counter-attack.

He had Iron Working in can research -slot So he still needed it to research. (and construction for engineering-> chem too)

Well, game over man.

I'm still freakin' busy, but if I have time, I'll try to post up some end-game thoughts and grab some pictures from the last save. But, brief impressions: Kyan was gonna win, clearly the plans for a dog-pile fell apart somewhere and I just wasn't active enough to do anything about it. Questionable about whether or not I'd have hit GE anytime soon, but I think that if I did... well, I'd probably have a tech advantage, at least, but turning a tech advantage into a material advantage is time-consuming. I dunno. It was coming, though! My only regret is the game ending before it did.....
