I guess we need to defog the southeast coast of our jungle border with Mackoti, there's probably a stone or marble there. I mean, it could happen by accident that he put both stones closer to Mackoti and didn't run your balance checker to notice it, but there are literally MOUNTAINS shielding the stones from his neighbors. That looks intentional.
Another map observation - we don't see any resources on the islands yet. That's a bit troubling. Also, it looks (from our scout's view) like the island in the bay (e.g. near Callisto) is separate from the island reachable by peaks. Interesting.
t34: Found Callisto, works cow, builds granary. Gany works Rice FP FP, builds warrior. Titan works forests/resources to get 11h and finish WB, while growing. B & C farm rice. New Gany warrior moves NW to cover workers at Callisto. Callisto warrior might go exploring now or soon.
t35: Callisto works rice, Gany adds cow, Titan adds (hidden) copper mine and builds settler. Workboat moves north to future Io fish.
t36: Revolt to slavery, whip Titan for 3 pop losing forests. Ganymede builds becomes spear; it adds a 1/2 forest. 0% tech on Sailing. A resumes river cottage. B & C move E onto forest.
t37: Settler moves toward Io onto our newly grown forest. B & C chop. Titan builds a 1t worker. Gany works furs, Titan works new cottage. 100% tech. Callisto switches to Obelisk.
t38: Callisto back to Granary; adds lake. B finishes chop. C moves to forest hill 2N of Gany. Titan builds spear working fish, deer, FP, grass cottage. Gany builds settler working rice, cow, FP, fur, copper, lake. A moves S onto grass hill. New Titan worker (D) moves onto annoying newly grown forest.
t39: Found Io, net and work fish, build granary, D farms corn. B builds farm. C builds 5t mine. A builds mine. Whip obelisk. Callisto turns on "avoid growth". Titan adds FP. Gany whips settler and subtracts FP, lake, and rice. Tech to 50% to finish sailing. Gany spear moves SE-SE to cover settler if necessary.
t40: tech 0% on masonry. Settler SESESE. Spear follows if needed otherwise heads back. Callisto turns off "avoid growth", builds WB. Gany works rice, cow, FP, and builds a 1t worker. Titan works fur, copper, fish, FP, deer, forest and puts 20h into a worker.
t41: Callisto works rice + cow. Gany works rice + 2FP, builds axe. Titan loses FP + forest, adds mine + grass cottage, to produce another 20h. Found Europa, work Oasis, build granary. New Gany worker (E) onto gold.
t42: A moves NE onto grass river forest. New Titan worker (F) moves NE onto grass forest hill. Callisto works rice, farm, cow, and builds galley. Gany works rice, 2xFP, lake. Titan works deer, fur, fish, copper, mine, grass cottage.
t43: B builds road. F builds mine. A builds cottage. D starts moving SESE; is hampered by new forest. Callisto whips galley, works rice + farm. Gany builds settler, working rice, cow, mine, copper, fur. Titan starts lighthouse (7h + 7 overflow) working 2xFP, fish, deer, grass cottage, mine. Io whips away corn, turns on "avoid growth". Research to 100%. Spear from Titan moves to Gany.
t44: Gany whips settler, works rice, mine, FP. Titan starts WB, works FP, copper, fur, deer, 1/2 forest, grass cottage, mine (total 0f16h). Europa works fish. Callisto works rice + cow. C moves to Titan's plains forest. Io turns off "avoid growth" and starts galley. Gamy spear moves towards Callisto. Galley stays put.
t45: Settler and spear move into Callisto, board galley. Galley moves out. Tech Mono. C chops, D chops, E roads gold. Gany builds worker. Titan finishes WB with 12 overflow. Callisto adds farm, builds spear. Europa adds gold.
t46: Titan whips LH losing grass cottage and forest. Callisto works rice, farm, cow, clams. Io adds grass forest.
t47: New worker G from Gany joins F in roading SESE of Gany, hooking gold. Found an island city? Titan -FP +mine; Gany -mine +FP. Titan builds GLH.
novice Wrote:Hehe. Even without OB it's clearly worth it if we go on an island settling spree. Besides, if we keep dow'ing our neighbours we'll never profit from OB anyway because we lose the trade route bonii.
Yeah, 4 island cities and no friends and you're laughing.
And on the sixth day, god created Manchester.

I played through your beautiful plan. I really like it. I can't really refine it, I just added a few details that you had left out in the writeup.
t34: Found Callisto, works cow, builds granary. Gany works Rice FP FP, builds warrior. Titan works forests/resources to get 11h and finish WB, while growing. B & C farm rice. New Gany warrior moves NW to cover workers at Callisto. Callisto warrior might go exploring now or soon.
t35: Callisto works rice, Gany adds cow, Titan adds (hidden) copper mine and builds settler. Workboat moves north to future Io fish. Adopt hinduism.
t36: Revolt to slavery, whip Titan for 3 pop losing forests. Ganymede builds becomes spear; it adds a 1/2 forest. 0% tech on Sailing. A resumes river cottage. B & C move E onto forest.
t37: Settler moves toward Io onto our newly grown forest. B & C chop. Titan builds a 1t worker. Gany works furs, Titan works new cottage. 100% tech. Callisto switches to Obelisk.
t38: Callisto back to Granary; adds lake. B finishes chop. C moves to forest hill 2N of Gany. Titan builds spear working fish, deer, FP, grass cottage. Gany builds settler working rice, cow, FP, fur, copper, lake. A moves S onto grass hill. New Titan worker (D) moves onto annoying newly grown forest.
t39: Found Io, net and work fish, build granary, D farms corn. B builds farm. C builds 5t mine. A builds mine. Whip obelisk. Callisto turns on "avoid growth". Titan adds FP. Gany whips settler and subtracts FP, lake, and rice. Tech to 50% to finish sailing. Gany spear moves SE-SE to cover settler if necessary.
t40: tech 0% on masonry. Settler SESESE. Spear follows if needed otherwise heads back. Callisto turns off "avoid growth", builds WB. Gany works rice, cow, FP, and builds a 1t worker. Titan works fur, copper, fish, FP, deer, forest and puts 20h into a worker.
t41: Callisto works rice + cow. Gany works rice + 2FP, builds axe. Titan loses FP + forest, adds mine + grass cottage, to produce another 20h. Found Europa, work Oasis, build granary. New Gany worker (E) onto gold.
t42: A moves NE onto grass river forest. New Titan worker (F) moves NE onto grass forest hill. Callisto works rice, farm, cow, and builds galley. Gany works rice, 2xFP, lake. Titan works deer, fur, fish, copper, mine, grass cottage. E mines gold.
t43: B builds road. F builds mine. A builds cottage. D starts moving SESE; is hampered by new forest. Callisto whips galley, works rice + farm. Gany builds settler, working rice, cow, mine, copper, fur. Titan starts lighthouse (7h + 7 overflow) working 2xFP, fish, deer, grass cottage, mine. Io whips away corn, turns on "avoid growth". C moves to Titan's plains forest. Io turns off "avoid growth" and starts galley. Gany spear moves towards Callisto. Galley stays put.
t45: Settler and spear move into Callisto, board galley. Galley moves out. Tech Mono. B pastures horses. C chops, D chops, E roads gold. Gany builds worker. Titan finishes WB with 12 overflow. Callisto adds farm, builds spear. Europa adds gold.
t46: Titan whips LH losing grass cottage and forest. Callisto works rice, farm, cow, clams. Io adds grass forest.
t47: New worker G from Gany joins F in roading SESE of Gany, hooking gold. Found an island city? Titan -FP +mine; Gany -mine +FP. Titan builds GLH. Callisto adds horses. Io whips galley?
If we want to push the GLH to t46 we need
a) A few more beakers to get Mono eot45. This can be done by working the gold earlier, but then it must be improved earlier.
b) More labour around Titan to do the chops earlier and mine the gold earlier.
As compared to your plan, I got these worker turns by not improving Callisto (which worked prophets when it lacked improved tiles), and by not mining the forest hill 2N of Ganymede. However I built more roads than you did. I think we need a worker at Callisto though, both to get the settler expedition out, and for strategic reasons - we need horses hooked up. Still I think t46 might be doable, we can cut the mine 2N of Ganymede, cut the cottage 1SE of Titan, and cut some roads that I laid down in my t46 run.
novice Wrote:If we want to push the GLH to t46 we need
b) More labour around Titan to do the chops
Or, we could make do with just two chops:
Titan overflows from Io settler to a new settler, and grows on other stuff. Settler is overflowed into and 1-pop whipped on T45, overflowing to GLH on T46. The settler goes to settle an island. Ganymede builds the workers after the settler for Europa.
t34 started bad: a warrior north of the rice. We decided to attack it 50/50. If we win, we get to continue on track. Lose, or don't attack, and our workers have to do nothing for a turn. (Of course losing the attack is worse than not attacking at all. But both are bad.)
We lost.
Our scout was greeted by a Luddicator warrior. I moved away to be safe. This will give us even more discount on BW.
