I mean I imagine the starting BFCs are all new so we redo our picks.
Snakes a good method at low player count so let's just stick with that

With this low of people I actually prefer block. I think that worked out well in PB65 getting some interseting combos going.
I've made a new voting spreadsheet keeping votes in from last time. Note I've added two new columns at the end. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1...edit#gid=0
Is it too late for me to sign up?
Edit: ah just saw Tarkeel is making a map already. my bad edit2: MJMD has reminded me I'm already signed up for this.
Have you given any thoughts to going sequential? I think the main issue with it last time as that Charriu and me had the same playing window.
Sequential did win the vote. We have 3 people who favor vs 2 who don't care. 5 is a good # for sequential. I'm thinking T60 switchover?
There are 3 voting categories that need votes from Ginger and Bing still. The settler race coin flip one won't matter as much with sequential, but just in case still vote please.
The coinflip actually doesn't apply at all to sequential. Need to determine a turn order from playing windows and decide how first player interacts with picking methods as there are benefits to being early in the order for sequential. I'd advise going 5-4-3-2-1-5-4-3-2-1 instead of snake, or for block pick have the last two players get an extra civ/leader to choose from.
Correct. I was mentioning in case it occurred accidentally pre turn 60, but you are correct about the pick orders needing to compensate. If we end up in block I can prepare the random formula spreadsheet to give to a lurker to refresh again.
