Bing got spooked from a couple turns of seeing so many HA's popping.. (he's been scouting me with 2 scouts, annoyingly) and thus began whipping/moving troops.. so, instead of consolidating and doom-stacking/declaring.. im going to try and divide and conquer him as he doesnt have construction (yet) and he cant really engage my knights outside of his cities. Never got a message back from Xist, and Civac went for engineering/some whips and is showing cats stacking up... so well... this is my ONLY shot at not getting last-near last place. Of course, im rightfully fucked if civac throws his weight towards me while i have my knights elsewhere, but i would really hope that xist wouldnt let him do that for free.. plus i can be quite spiteful.

its looking like pump as much knight as i can, and rush it to the battlefield. (these screenshots are from last turn, and ill be swapping catapults in where i can to help break the siege since im finishing construction)

I didnt expect him to attack out, to be fair.. and one of those knights was holding onto 1 promo (it was promoted c1, but coulda taken c2 or shock)

And of course, my chariot loses the fight vs an axe.. because why not >:D

Battlefield as of last turn. I have 2 knights and 2 HA's loaded onto those galleys, and i plan to find some juicy cities to take over.


All told, i should have a 2 to 1 ratio of knights to his longbows by the time i get catapults in there. And he has to choose between finishing construction and having a shot at pushing me out, or spending a bunch of gold upgrading warriors to spears to be a bit more painful to digest. Interesting choice.
