Is that character a variant? (I just love getting asked that in channel.) - Charis

RB Pitboss #2 [SPOILERS] - Iamjohn, Kodii & Zeviz

Shaka is out.

I like Organized because of cheap buildings and the help it would provide with expanding.

However, your argument about Bismarck and specializing is compelling. My top two would probably be:

Mehmed > Bismarck

We're up... thoughts from Iamjohn?

We should probably decide on strategy before finalizing the selection.

If we are going with "get BW, get some workers, and use chopping to spread like locust, while researchng Pottery to allow cottages to save economy", a detour to Masonry and Pyramids would be less likely. (Chops going into Pyramids wouldn't go into workers/settlers.) So in that case we'd need either Imperialistic for faster early push or Organized for lower maintenance. Does anybody have a description of Imperialistic trait?

(Meanwhile, I am also leaning towards Organized.)

Imperialistic:
+50% Settler Production (hammers only, not converted food)
+100% Great General Production

Normally, the best way with Imp to build settlers is to grow while slow-building something, then whipping the settler after a small amount of production, a la the Farmer's Gambit RB Adventure.

I am also leaning against Joao because it would be an exact carbon copy of Krill/Memphus' choice for the last Pitboss. Do we agree on Mehmed?

I am leaning against the Pyramids, because there are a couple other non-financial teams that we could potentially be up against. If we happen to have Stone, we could definitely go for it, but if we don't, being Industrious might just become a waste.

Ok, let's go with Mehmed, to get at least some economic benefit. (Unless Iamjohn has a strong objection.)

Nope, sounds good to me. smile

Fish is good. Rice, not so much. I'd settle in place and go with WB first, while researching Mining->BW.

And some things came up in RL, so I might not be very active until late December.

I don't believe we start with Fishing?

Agriculture and Mysticism I think.
