World's End
I told you they wouldn't mess with the world wrap! Love it when I'm right.
Since I now know that my western border is clear I can focus expansion south, southeast and east (obviously not north since that's pretty much just tundra and snow). That's good to know.
The bad news, however, is that my Sand Zergling (yet to be renamed in the screen shot above) got himself stuck on the wrong side of World's End Lake.

I can either hug the western part of the map, turn east to explore the southern rim of the tundra, or walk all the way around the lake to head south. I decided to go for the second alternative. I won't have to explore the tundra for quite some time still (will use War Chariots for it later on) and I waste too many turns walking around south.
I've finished Hunting and put reasearch to Mining. I started with Agriculture and The Wheel. Next I will get Bronze Working and Animal Husbandry, though not necessarily in that order. I'm thinking about doing a dual Worker start, but that would gimp my scouting quite hard so I haven't decided yet. I'm not worried about being killed early, but falling behind on making contacts might hurt badly if I'm out of luck. My initial thinking of finding two civs fairly early using my starting unit surely didn't work out as I'd hoped.
I will probably do two Workers straight and then spam Warriors for a while, but don't take my word for it just yet. I've decided to call Warriors "Sand Zerglings", but need to figure out what to call my Workers soon. Hm...
The game is currently on turn 7. There's been some score increases since the screen shot but I will deal with that in a new C&D post I intend to make soonish. The most interesting event so far tech-wise is Moogle's discovering Buddhism (as expected).
