Rowain seeks eternal life

Turn 030:

Nothing much happened during the last few turns. Except everyone but myself and Japper are now at 2 cities.
This turn I met granada in the east with the information that the city has cintact with another player:

Finally the hint that there are other people in this game.

Exciting turn 031:

First I'm greeted with

thanks to meeting Alhambram of the Dutch.

The contact happens in the west where my warrior is about to capture a Barb-camp:

Capturing the Barb-camp leads to:

and that means :

In 2 more turns I'll have Magnus and can start harvesting for real.

Turn 032 the east shows the next possible contact

The west the influence of a major power (Netherlands)

Turn 033 Contact with Zanzibar

who do already have contact with another civ.

Also visible Crater Lake which leads to

Turn 035 Contact with the Mongols which I would prefer to not have in my neighbourhood.

This contact leads to me accepting Wilhelmina's offer of Friendship.

Turn 038 With Magnus settled in Harvest ahoy this leads to city-size 6 on the next turn.

The place will be used for a Science-district. Someone else already has one (going by score it is Japper)

Mongols capital and their Pantheon.

Archduke offered a tradedelegation (25 gold) which I didn't accept. It would give the Mongols better diplomatic visibility which is a bad thing as they get  Boni to fighting if they have better visibility than you.

As I'm the first civ to contact Mongolia I ponder early war.

Turn 039
Mongolia has now contact with another Civ (going by the era-points I guess it is Emperor's Georgia). Which means I accept ArchKhan's  offer of friendship. Shall he fight in the north.

Looks like the game makes a big step towards beeing decided. Since turn 38 I have watched Archdukes power increase while all his potential targets (Japper, emperor, Chev) stayed below myself and Alhambram . This turn Mongolia reached more than 270 power and declared war on Emperor's Georgia. Who has at best roughly a third of his power. Makes one wonder what people expect from Mongolia.
Lets hope he has some walls up.

More details about what happened during the last 13 turns including pictures to come later.

Turn 52: Worlds end reached :

The 3 points also mean I get a golden age next era

Diplo-news:

lets look at mil power:

Emperor is 5th. Leader Mongolia has 273 MP, Alhambram as 3rd placed has 108 MP so Emperor as 5th won't have much chance against Mongolia.

A quick pictureless update for Turns 053-055: Chevalier completes Stonhenge and founds The Culture. I clear a Barbcamp and gain a relic giving me 4 Icon_Faith and 8 tourists.

Alhambram has now 3 cities. Mongols breach the 300 Mil Power mark and next turn I can enter a new goverment. The current Era ends in 7 turns. at the moment I'm the only one who will have a Golden Age and Emperor the only one who will have a dark age (he is 3 Era-points short).

Me switching into a new goverment means I waste alot of Era-points but I rather have the benfits of 4 civics earlier than later.

Turn 059:

Here is the Chevaliers religion and pantheon:

and the pantheon I chose:

Big news from Mongolia:

He is now at 4 cities :

and it also means we are down to 5 players:

Military:

So the next door neighbour (Japper?)  from Emperor K has so far not increased his military significantly.

Sumeria and plans for future cities:

the small square is for the next city IMO the mountain range to the east makes a good natural border. It will get walls and an encampment on the hills north of the orange.

The big square is for the city after that I have not yet decided which location to put it.

Granada might or might not become incorporated sometimes in the future. Magnus will stay a few more turns in Kish as there is one more wood to chop then he will move back to Uruk. Sippar needs another worker for some ziggurats.
