That is true regardless of the SIP or NE position. Other cities have to fullfill that or I put down lumber mills which woefully inefficient.
Also thanks to the signup:
The Archduke The Netherlands, Aztec, Sumeria, Georgia, Pericles, Scotland
Rowain Brazil, America, Mapuche, Russia, Cree, Spain
Still missing. Should be Brazil, maybe as Sumeria before Rowain will choose something weird.
Japper Japan, Nubia, Indonesia, Australia, Persia, Zulu
No suprise there, although as I pointed out I think Japan is MUCH stronger then Indonesia especially on a sea map.
Chevalier Germany, Rome, Khmer, Arabia, Chandragupta, Mongolia
Huh. Not Germany for its base strengths and the uboat. Not Rome which is just awesome in general? Arabia. Curious. Chevalier is going for no advantage on the high seas whatsoever.
Emperor England, Macedonia, Poland, France, Norway, China
No suprise there.

Reading about Rise and Fall...
Quote:Hic Sunt Dracones
Gain +3 Era Score each time you discover a new Continent or natural wonder. Gain +1 Era Score each time you kill a non-Barbarian naval unit. If chosen at the start of a Golden Age, +3 starting Population for cities settled on a different continent than your first city. +2 Movement for naval and embarked units. +2 Loyalty per turn for cities not on your original Capital's continent
Is this real?

Yep. The movement is a strong bonus.

The +3 population in a Golden Age also sounds pretty nuts from a Loyalty perspective.

Sorry Bacchus, despite your idea I decide against a move on the tobacco.
I waste 2 turns, loose my 2nd ring 2f/2p (my only one) and my 1st ring 4f and maritime industries.
Also Indonesia means +2 faith to a pantheon by Japper is likely so I am not first anyway.
But yes Hypatia is around.
I SIP in place and I will show my city next turn when I finalised my naming sheme.

Yep, as I could not find "cool" sea shanties, and despite my german I can´t listen to them and I liked the song theme of PBEM 11.
Sea shanties.
First off the ten we use for the first ten cities.
If we need more something has gone so good I think off more.

Damn, roll the old Chariot is damn awesome.
Anyway. Initial plan for city 2 and 3 and for a gov district to boost river districts further, thanks Alhambram!
I am damn happy I SIP. I would have moved back, we narrowly have space to plant a city on the northern river and probably on the southern river.
The Netherlands look viable, so if I screw this up, it will be my fault, which I approve off.

Well, that did not take long. Hello Barbs. Hopefully I can kill that scout before the pain train comes, else I have to switch to a slinger.

Always nice when the barb camps spawn in the swamp rather than on a mountain
