Depending on how Yuri's axe behaves, my axe may or may not have to attempt to defend.

Ive got 2 axes with double promos available. So long as i keep out of sniping range, those WC's dont scare me. Capital will grab the mine back and BlackHawkDown will go back to growing, i just wanted it to have an archer for emergency incase the WC and axe both head for it. If i dont see Rome/Egypt get some more power soon, i might just roll the dice and gamble vs one of them for their city. Cornflakes is probably loving his position right now.

Putting me in an awkward situation here. If he moves that pair SE ( scout + WC ) Ill be forced to move the scout onto the wheat. Worker needs to complete a road on the fur, and then probably on the wheat so i can protect myself from this stuff.
Im saying this now, Cornflakes wins this. Unless i get a couple lucky rolls and can move thru Egypt ( 10% chance ) Cornflakes wins this. Rome doesnt have enough land of any quality to compete, and WChariots are a pain.

2 WC's, one looking to attack... Cornflakes? Or maybe just flank me.... Thanks to the way this pitboss works, i dont "really" have to worry about Yuri's scout sitting on my plains hill mine. I refused to 2pop whip my spear ( could have 1 pop whipped it had i not made a micro mistake last turn... ) But i will likely whip it next turn just to safeguard my worker without all this dodging. If his WC stays where it is, and he just moves the scout onto the hill, ill just get the free kill and then move my scout to block the WC from getting access to the axe.
Hmm, now i gotta see how c2 formation axes on a hill deal with WC's... God damn it. According to Zulan's vodka... if im reading it right out of 1000 tries, the WC would STILL kill it 70% of the time. God damn, 100% bonus attack vs axes sucks.

Gambling on alot of things, but im whipping axe-spear and going to remember to save the promos on a couple units so i can potentially snag a worker or burn that city. I hope cornflakes and Scooter start clashing... i dont want to just weaken myself and Yuri and be a snack to Praets ( lol eat my 3 promo axes ) or Cornflakes.
This game is the most casual game ill ever play here on Realmsbeyond. Well, it would be if i dont count pb41 and the Commodore Skirmishers From Hell.

Fireworks coming soon to a theater of war near you!

Im hopeful that there is a worker north of the city on the forest.. The right-side group will move forward first to check that, if there is a worker the extra spear will take woody 2 and snag it/delete it. Pillage is the name of the game here. If i can get past the war chariots and capture/raze a city? Great! Wont happen, but im going full speed into this game with the most casual "just build military bruh!"
Axe gets whipped in BlackHawkDown next turn, spear gets whipped the turn after out of the capital. 2-1 ratio currently for axes to spears. Im not scared of Roman Praets ( they should go after Cornflakes even though bowmen are amazing... ) But Roman tech might get out of hand. So im going balls-to-the-walls on aggression here to try and take Yuri out. Hence the iron working tech. Worker will finish the horses, start chopping and be ready to hook up the iron right after. As Dark Savant and myself saw in pb46, even against Skirm's on a hill city, RTR boudica of america swords are no joke. 20%+ vs skirms, vs non-agg/pro Egypt? OH boyyy.
Cornflakes still wins this unless he and Rome get into a squabble soon.

Deleted the captured worker. My axe-axe-spear stack might get wiped out this turn, but im hopeful it takes a couple units with it. The spear "should" kill like 2 WC's by itself, and the axes id hope make a dent in whatever of his attacks. He has 3 WC's and 2 axes none of them have promo's, vs 1 woody 2,c1 spear in a forest.. 1 c2/formation spear + 2 axes, one promoted c2-formation and the other im pretty sure is c2-shock.
Spear+ axe will be whipped next turn +another spear before letting the cities grow a smidge to prepare for swords. I dont see Yuri defending both of his cities from this unless he gets some decent rolls against the spear, so he can hit the axes with a WC. /knock on wood.

Situation: These axes should have "2" movement thanks to roads on each of these tiles. They had not been moved until i tried to move them This turn.

Proof of roads on both tiles, should allow my axes to go where i wanted them to. which is South of the Axe/Spear pair in the forest.
I specifically put the axes on the fur tile AND roaded it to make sure i could reach far over the river to kill any pesky WC's/ect that might come at me.

More examples:
The only road it seems to count IS the capital-wheat one. Thats some horseshit.

I think this is just a case of the river graphics being a bit wonky since they were drawn in by hand by the mapmaker. If you have a river on the edge with the coast like that it counts as being between the two tiles. You'd need bridges at Construction as usual for roads to work between those two tiles.
