It seems our lone hoplite which did not scratch Singaboy is responsible for his blight.. Sigh.
The one who got Germany in the draw and 2 Citystates is annoyed over a bug which changes nothing. Maybe Oledavy built a horde of hoplites? He had exactly one last time I looked.
Singaboy would already have been quite demoralized by the situation he finds himself in, so no wonder the bug really irks him. I think many people would be tempted to just throw the towel in, and credit to him that he seems to be taking it quite lightly.

I feel bad for Singa, Frankfurt was an awesome city, the crown jewel. But what was I supposed to do after he serrled Ironforge.
So you burnt it already? No counter-strike at damaged horses from his side? I hope he takes peace and at least saves that sword for something useful. Would it teleport to capital I wonder?
Missed the post with burning above.
So, on further moves -- we obviously want Singa to not fall to oledavy too quickly, the geography is such that oledavy stands to gain much more of Singa's collapse than we do. That's also why attacking Singa when Oledavy was already running away with the game would have been a bad idea -- whatever gains we made would be very shortlived. The geopolitics as they turned out in reality are very favourable to us.
So I would not press to Aachen. In fact, I'm not even sure that pressing to Ironforge is that important just at the moment. Ironforge was completely indefensible in the first place, it's only more indefensible now, we can take it at will. It would have been worth it for iron, but we now have the Kilimanjaro iron. I would stay at war with Singa, as this changes nothing and confuses Davy, whilst healing the troops and relocating them to the north. We can hit Schuyler from the east, where his encampment is made irrelevant. With Schuyler, and one more city to the north of Kilimanjaro, our dotmap is nicely rounded out, and we can think about longer-term issues. That is, Woden. Davy will eventually eat up Singa, and that entire ridiculous expanse of land in the east, both of us will be still in the game, and facing Woden as the major threat.
Exactly. Ironforge is easy, and will remain easy. Schuyler, on the other hand, we have probably the last chance to take whilst OleDavy's forces are tied up, whilst our horsemen are still not obsolete, whilst he may still not have significant amounts of crossbows. He must be close to mercenaries by now, cheap upgrades are coming.
Basically, we have a choice between investing in a very cheap stock, that will remain cheap, and won't even pay dividend after we buy it, not for a long time, in a super-stock that's temporarily on discount. The cheap one is never leaving the market, not urgent. If Schuyler on discount, of course. Has Seoul fallen yet, and what's OleDavy's power doing?
Ah, well, if we can realistically try going after both, all the better.
Frankfurt was worth three science even under occupation Oh well, Desert Dot will catch up very quickly, that's the good thing about Kilimanjaro.
Tactics Edit: you can get 5 x Flanking on Ironforge, if you hit with the green horse out of the forest on which the general is sitting. Three archer shots and a horse at 51 take it with 95%+ certainty (and the horse currently on the general would retain enough points to hit itself)
Also, slight error in tactical advice, green horse is not within general aura range, so if it steps onto the forest it can't hit. Interesting puzzle then -- I guess the green horse, lacking the +5 as it does, is still best used for flanking, so you still hit with 5x flanking, but using the horse that is currently on the general, but moving it to the tundra forest where the promoted horse currently is.
