Reversing to Orion - project 1oom

I think this is worthy of it's own forum thread, but I don't appear to have permission to create new threads, so this is the best I can do:

I have published Roland MT-32 music packs for 1oom! There's some limitations and testing is urgently needed! Please see the documentation here: https://github.com/starslab/1oom-roland

It crashes randomly now. But it's a great idea to use OGG tracks instead of MIDI. Your Roland MT-32 music packs sound better than any soundfont I used with 1oom.
And honestly, I'm tired to rebuild fluidsynth library each time when it's updated in MSYS2 only for being able to link it with 1oom-fork static executables that I compile for myself.

Welcome, skyhawk! The forum doesn't let new users create new threads until they've replied to an existing thread at least once (an old, old protocol, dating back to the second millenium, I believe) - but you've met that requirement now, so you should be able to post a new thread if you want!

There is a lot of useful information in this topic. It is quite difficult to find all forgotten ideas in one day. In any case, it’s great that there are people who not only find errors, but also report them to the developers.

I make a mix of three forks: Ignatius, Tapani and my own. Looking for someone who can make a short list of the best features of Ignatius fork so i can finish my job faster.

This is the final one before the release of the next iteration of my fork. This should be stable and playable.

Let me start by praising 1oom. This is a fantastic piece of software. Great UI/X, and I like that with the bug fixes it actually plays more like the creators intended it to than the original. Recommended reading: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zDVp...ew?tab=t.0

My trouble is, even after fiddling with the config file I can't for the life of me enable the max research interest earned lights on the Research screen. I'm running the game through the sdl2 executable. Any thoughts, folks?
