We start scanning for alien threats, thinking this wouldn't take long but we end up going for ages without a mission.
Rather than bore you with it all, here are the highlights :
Research Plasma Rifle -> Elerium -> Plasma Cannon
Satellites complete and we deploy to Russia, Germany, Argentina and Canada which give us both the 'We have Ways' and 'Air & Space' bonuses.
We then instantly research all the backlogged interrogations and autopsies.
Build a Foundry and get the end of month Council report
Manufacture two shiney new Plasma Rifles and two sets of Chitin Plating and start a Thermal Generator and additional excavation for last Sateliite uplink or nexus.
More research Plasma Cannon -> Plasma Sniper Rifle -> Skeleton Suit
We build five Plasma Cannon and order 5 new interceptors (one for each continent). Note for next player - these need re-arming.
We can't do further research, build more weapons etc as we're out of weapon fragments and low on alien alloys.
We're also very limited on the Foundry options although we do start the Improved Medikit
Finally the aliens make an appearance
