Plans and stuff proceeding. I have plans and then some more plans. Then some hope plans.

Vodka gave right around 50% that the 2 CR2 axes he evaced could take out the shock praet so I just razed the island city. Little unfortunate I didn't bring 2 praets, but I can resettle eventually. Figured best to not let him use his units effectively atm.

Couple important things this picture. 1) that archer is new so no fortify. 6 of my praets are 10exp. 2 are vanilla. He can reinforce in time, but NONE of them will have fortify; hoping border doesn't pop. He took back on T92. Figure couple turns in anarchy I should be fine. 2) no bridges yet. He had a lot of pt increase this turn so I thought maybe, but nope.

This is why I like having a ded lurker. I have 2 actually  . Plus the 2 chariots.

So do I use the 1-2 of the GG to probably take down the walls when capture and then him probably burning when he retakes? 

If he has just 2 units this turn probably do it. It would be kind of a drain for a second anyways. I can then keep that army mobile. I'll send up some workers to get it back faster if need be.

Ok Mig and I had talked about using those Morale promos. Mig even logged in and went "ya go for it". Here is the thing. He is holing up in Arbutus and didn't move the axes to flat ground. He didn't whip the city. Meaning that even if he gets construction he can only reinforce with HA which seems unlikely.
Mig had some other selected thoughts I liked:

I'm increasingly not expecting that we win this game, with the economic delay, but bashing stuff with praetorians is fun, right? On that note, the morale praet has 63% on the archer at Quince, and then the second one has to take out an axe. I'd promote the first one, see if he gets through, only then promote the second one. Burn it if you ask me. Play it like we're Genghis Khan or something.

Ya pretty sure I'm not winning, but I'm not quite to the burn it all stage yet. Holy city former capital is still a nice prize. 


Also next turn I'll try to get a loan again I hope. I can 2 turn currency with say 380 gold total. See how much I get from capture ect.

BTW I may have been too harsh on Noble. Evidently he was spending 5!!! hours on his PBEM78 turns with Gasper..... Maybe this really is him taking it casually lol. In related news WHY THE HELL HASN'T HG BEEN BUILT YET!!!!! Noble or Civac are the most likely candidates as they are the only ones with the required happy caps (I'm assuming Civac has a GA coming to switch into a happy civac of choice; plus Civac got IW to dejungle his gems). If I had stone I would 100% try to steal it, but I don't.

I say I'd rather take Ruff's cap and not betray Amica. Also he has 140 on hand, so he's lowballing us.

You should post F5 ocasionnally, it's a thing of beauty. No wonder we're broke . Wiki tells me that the actual Roman Empire had on the order of 30 legions, so we've outpaced them already.

So lets do a catch up post first. I'm working OT still, but wife and kids are gone for a couple of days to visit her folks up north. So even though I'm working OT its way better than OT plus 3 small children.

2) I had mentioned Amica was giving LONG  time frames on attacking Vanrober. Hopefully that time is this turn.

Amica sent Ivory/cow (his side) for corn/sheep/fish (ours). Those are surely code for cities, but you can figure out which :P (I think he has more of van's territory scouted. Maybe it is he goes south, we center/north.)

To which I replied "ya no clue". People may remember when I forgot which tile Ruffs old capital was on because I hadn't actually explored up there very well. Now I know where 6/8 of Vans cities are. Even if Amica just opportunity swipes the other 2 it would be a nice cut to Vans production (Van got construction this turn fyi). Based on the number of whips and the time it has taken Amica to assemble I'm hoping for an actual elephant cat stack that can smash Vans very heavy axe stacks. I'll take what I can get. I sent back a copper for iron trade.

I might lose some this turn so here is F5 per request. Looking at I might have overbuilt spears. I've been using them and chariots as MP. Spears specifically for Van border. I built quite a few pre praets to be fair. Again I thought I was going to be attacking Cairo with a long border to defend vs HA. Some of them have been build more recently and probably could have an extra 2-3 praets.
