Is that character a variant? (I just love getting asked that in channel.) - Charis

Sian has 3 cities including the best city in the world! He also has Writing.

Luckily, if he harasses our worker we can kill him with the axe in exchange for 1 turn of unhappiness.

YNL founded a third city. Nothing else of interest happened (though I haven't been checking for tech/pop/power increases religiously). I followed the micro plan.

I looked over what we can see of Mackoti's forests in past saves. (Forests update in the fog of war even though cities and improvements don't!)

He chopped one of this capital forests quite a while ago, before we even got BW or thereabouts. So if he had the same number of forests as us (and didn't have any lucky growths), he's possibly going to have a hard time finishing GLH first anyway.

The only other capital forest we could see, he chopped on t41 (i.e. it's gone in our t42 save). If he wants to use that same worker to chop another forest on his own for GLH, it moves on t42, and finishes chopping only on t46, after we finish GLH ourselves.

This gives me a little bit of hope. smile

Well if he moves on t42, he can chop on t43, t44 and t45. Also he could have prechopped or roaded forests. Still, I share your hope.

Well now you know my dirty secret, I can't add 3 to a number.

Dang.

Got it. And played T45. I followed the micro plan. Judaism was founded in Callisto, as expected. At the end of turn we have Luddicator's graphs.

Sian moved S with his warrior, that doesn't cause us any problems really. Belligerence is scheduled to put one turn of road into the rice tile, but he might as well put one more turn of farm into the plains tile 1E of Callisto.

So, now we wait... We have 59 overflow hammers from Titan and we're dying to find out what they'll go into.

I almost missed it too since you don't get any notifications in-game, but yes, they did.

Hopefully you know that, we don't until we see the save again though.
