OKay guys, I played the turn and as promised I have a nice picture dunp for you all. You get all the cities plus all the civics, city lists, military screen and victory conditions you can handle. I'll break them up into two groups and put them into spoiler tags:
First up are all the settings screens and adviser screens.
Next I'll dump in all the cities... and unfortunately for you all, I won't be doing it any particular order because I don't know which screenies are which as I've done them all in a batch. Also I haven't renamed 4 cities Temperance, humility, patience and Nindros or whatever it is were supposed to be renamed but I forgot and was in a hurry to get the save to Seven. Here we go:
Man photobucket made that easy. You can see a bunch of the cities don't have great production, and apparently one of the cities doesn't have the interface. I only noticed after I uploaded them. Sometime civ screenies get wonky. If there are any questions about any particular city or build order of anything don't hesitate to ask. I'll be looking at micro for a while so hopefully I'll get a few examples of what I'm doing in future turns. I figured the picture dump was enough for this update.
I need more workers...
I just though of something, I should have given an overview of the whole empire... AH well, something for you all to look forward to.

Wow, those cities are screaming for some courthouses. Most of your cities would be looking at 4-6 less upkeep if they got one, which in my eyes really makes it worthwhile to build.

Yup :D I just finished at least 2 this turn and I'm about to whip a couple. Its quite crazy but economy was simply put on hold while I went on the warpath. And being on the warpath(taking new cities) actually increased the problem
I'm hoping that tech turns around as well. But I'm already seeing the results, even with 2 courthouses and one grocer built this turn I went from -23 got to -8. Each building is having an enormous effect as there were none to begin with.
Exciting times in Viking land.

Quick update. Got a Trading post, lib, monastery, forge and a courthouse built this turn. 3 of which were whipped. With the huge amount of happiness available in my nation, I'm planning on whipping a great deal of these buildings, double and triple whips in a row. I'm only taking a few turns between to have cities grow and get a few hammers into the builds. Next turn I will likely whip another library, maybe 2, and either 1 or 2 forges. I have two harbors being built naturally in 2 turns, and a courthouse in 3 and 2 markets in 2-3 turns. Those are natural builds. The ones being whipped have little to no production working the great cottage grasslands.
Its an interesting balancing act, trying to get these cities up to speed without reducing them to little more than 2 pop cities... which Temperance now is.
Gahhh forgot to rename...

Got a 2nd turn today! Guess things really speed up once you've eliminated one player and another is out the door.
I've renamed my 4 cities: Jord, Mani, Idun, Lodur
Also tech rate continues to improve. I started PP at 9 turns. While microing it went to 8 turns and +2 gpt where at the end of last turn it was -8gpt at the same rate! When I ended the turn it went to +10gpt! Yay for explosive reconstruction.
In addition, last time I said I would post an over view of the empire so here we go!
These pictures (I believe) go from Capital Islands, SouthEast Mainland, NorthWest Mainland, and Captured Island. I realize now, maybe I should have put the resources up? Let me know if you want to see these shots with resources. Or any other shots for that matter.
Also here's a shot of whats going on at Ruff's last mainland city.

Yup...
Got too many pics and reports at the same time
Pbem 14 had 1 turn today, PBEM 6 had 2, and PBEM 18 also had 2. Makes me happy but busy.

Woke up and the turn was in the email again! I played this just before I went to bed so we're talking 3 turns in less than 24 hours. Just booking now.
On the home front I built another lib, courthouse, and market. My tech jumped from +14gpt to +32gpt when I ended turn. Feeling much more optimistic about future tech though I'm still far behind. Need a great deal more courthouses, libs, forges, markets, grocers.
On the war front:
Mainland:
Islandside:
There's a lot of units in that island city. Seven only has the one galleon there, though I do have to check the other side of the island. Still, Ruff has 4 archers, 1 shock axe, and a warrior. Not really anything to be afraid of, simply annoying.

Bit early to be thinking about Future Tech.

Never too early for the future
On the other hand, got a new turn and it looks like the end is nigh:
Seven has Rifles.
I mean he's light years ahead of Me AND Nakor... His GA just ended.
Here's a look at the techs screen:
Notice that Nakor doesn't even have optics, let alone astro, so he's vulnerable from the galleon attack, he doesn't have gunpowder (You have to scroll down on his list of things he can research to see it), he doesn't have Lib, no banking, he's not near economics.
Seven is in easy mode right now. That's pretty much what it boils down to.
My economy is make a nice recovery, (my GNP is 100 points up from the end of the war, that's 33%), but I'm still at about 1/3 the teching ability. I'm going PP as it will give me a more immediate bonus and even if I had education, 3/4s of my cities still need to build other cheaper infrastructure first. Seriously, still building 5 libs...
Whats this all mean? It means when Seven says, okay we're attacking Nakor now, I say, You Betcha! Then the game is over.
