Oh, a lot of messages indeed.
So if I understand correctly, your neighbour to the SW is Krill? Serdoa is NE. Scooter is SE.
I do not know any pros with knowledge of screenshoted parts of map in this stage of the game. Maybe after BW and IW is well known why not. Position of distribution of important resourses should be really good to know, but who will do that "for free" afterall?
Thank you again for keeping us in "game"

Yes, those are my thoughts as well. Why should I reveal location of copper for example at this point in time.
I now know where horses are located as well. Luckily this will not change my initial dotmap. "My" horses are right next to my 3rd city.
If Serdoa (brown city to my east) knows BW already then I doubt he will settle into my direction, assuming that "his" copper is on the other side of his capital.
There is one spot in between us, which he could settle and screw over my pink dot. I am talking about the tile 1N of the northern wine. On a plains hill with a good grab of resources.
The white arrow is the planned way for my scouting warrior to go. Basically trying to confirm the "oval world theory". After that he is going to east to hang around Pink Dot.
The light-blue arrows is the planned course for my scout. I assume I will find Krill any time soon south. I am actually surprised I have not spotted his borders yet. That means he is further from me than Serdoa, which is probably a good thing considering the aggressive Praets.
Btw. I will play until Friday morning and the Kylearan will take over for the Easter Days. I am back on Monday evening.

Whipped a worker. Worker will chop/mine the hill 1S of capital into settler.
Scout still hasn't found Krill's border.

There is something to be said for blue dot one east. I probably would not settle there since the ability to share the Clams for faster ramp-up is nice, but it adds Corn and a pair of floodplains. The really nice thing is you can share the Corn over to the Gold city immediately. Another problem is you nerf that future Pig city.
Zara is still CRE, right?

Yes, I am CRE.
I was debating the position you suggested. The current one has improved defense for being on a hill and partially shielded by a river as well.
I also don't expect to be able to settle near the pigs. Serdoa will probably grab those river spots.
I will kickstart Blue Dot with the 2nd clams. Then kickstart Pink Dot with the Cows, I hopefully have improved by then.
But thanks for the input.

If you think the Pigs is going to fall to Serdoa, then I definitely like shifting blue over. Especially as CRE, where you can get a workboat from the capital to the Fish, then use the Corn for the gold city. The city is harder to defend, but the tiles are worth the risk IMO .
The real key is to avoid giving your neighbor a twelve turn head start on drafting Rifles .

Stop putting ideas in my head!
In that case, why don't I move Blue Dot E-NE. Its a plains hill for better defense again. Puts it off fresh water, which is not really a problem, I think. And it put the copper in the 2nd ring. Also not really a problem with CRE.
Hmmmm. Need at least two warriors for defense then and a quick workboat.

But...but...you lose a plains tile . That's the best spot I think.
