Well, if I'm perfectly honest, I'm not particularly keen on settling along there in the near future. However, I feel threatened by the potential culture you can pump out in my direction. While I'd still rather you didn't settle further east than the plains forest, I'm willing to concede an extra tile eastward. This still allows you to settle the crabs/sheep, without being as threatening to my development.

In other news, hello to Sian and Catwalk! The Planet Express crew congratulates your warrior on his successful trek to the borders of Philip J. Fry. We bear no ill will towards the Musicians, even if your capital has the highly questionable name of Aqua. We wish to enter peaceful negotiations between our people, and as such we propose a NAP between our people. The big question is, how long?

at least here early on (and maybe for the whole game for a change of pace) i'm not all that interested in NAP's ... that doesn't have to mean that i'm interested in all-out wars through

This news greatly disappoints my people. If you are set in your ways of no NAPs, we cannot consider you friends. However, we will give you one last opportunity to convince us we should not feel threatened by this gesture, whether it be through signing a NAP or something else. I must warn you that if we don't get a response that gives us safety by the time I play the save (roughly 8 hours from now), we cannot guarantee the safety of your people.
I sincerely hope you choose the option that won't leave our two civs in a position that'll be practically impossible to win.

Understandable about the culture, though I have no desire to try and stifle you culturally, I can promise you that. I will take that extra tile eastward and leave it at that as getting the crabs/sheep spot is what I was planning. Since that is 4 tiles from my capital, I will expect you to settle no more than 4 tiles from your capital as well, though with the smallness of these spokes that shouldn't be too big of an issue.
If you have no problem with that as well, then I will consider our settling agreement and our NAP to be in effect, and look forward to building a nice friendship with you Sir Azza!

Excellent! I thank you for your co-operation, and hope we can both prosper from this fair and reasonable agreement.

I know how you feel Musicman, looks like everyone is afraid of my...Janissaries?
The turn was at Azza most of the day, I'm assuing due to the NAP stuff mentioned below. Turn has now passed to Sian, but I assume he is busy this evening, he normally plays a bit earlier.

Haha jannirots, sounds fun.
I'd like to have a bit more of the lay of the land before forming any NAP's for now. I'm even tempted to join Sian in his no-NAP's for the game although probably wont.
