Didn't go back that far in his post history, and he was strongly active in the last game, initiating quite a few discussions, and posting in others. Going deep will take time, but from my quick scan, he's probably the strongest player aside from maybe either 2metra or Somer.

How do we want the diplo department structured? Specifically, which threads will be needed? I'm guessing all the CFC stuff will need to be moved to a different thread later. Is it possible/desirable to make subforums within a subforum?

Yeah, my point there wasn't so much "lets do it", as "getting it right will require skills people haven't used and will require lots of work".
I imagine most of our communication to the Spanish team will be in simple English, with only the critical stuff in Spanish. Make sure they understand that we want to go an extra mile in communicating with them, but also that we can't always do so, et c.

Lewwyn- you've played too much werewolf. My jedi mind tricks fail. 
I'm not convinced that we need the sub-threads just yet. Let's see whose playing first (teams and respective players).
Once we have that information, I propose we construct a thread per team. It would be cool if we had representatives that specialised in collating information for specific teams. I'd also like to extend an additional thanks to those who have offered to do translations.

He says he's an immortal player, with deity wins. This is true, from his posts in the CFC threads. I've not actually seen him play too many games, but he does give out decent advice to others who post games (for example he's a dedicated lurker to Neal's King of the World series), so he knows his mechanics. I do not think he has much multiplayer experience in the game, so he could be thrown by some of the multiplayer strong play, if he's a turn player. In general I find he's a good, polite and consientious poster, whether that'll hold up in diplo I don't know.
Given that he've said that he have a couple of PBEM's under the belt ......

I've no record of it in CFC. For the moment I'm discounting that, but to find out we'd have to look elsewhere, and not everyone uses the same handle for all their sites. And "whats a navy" is to my mind a fairly specific handle, one that you wouldn't use too many places.

He says "Multiplayer internet games", which can easily be random games on gamespy, games with personal friends or games set up via private message. none of which would show up to a search of his forum history. And in my opinion, there is very little reason to believe he would be lying in his sign up post to his team.
