I guess I can get around his culture and circle the water there. Have to pay attention to whether he picks up HBR.

Warrior finds FP to the south



That's interesting enough to explore a little more down there. I'll follow this path (unless I see something interesting.

City is putting overflow into a settler, and will grow into a 2nd warrior and mine-chop the settler. After that, a worker and another settler.

Someone (not eastways, probably cheater hater, who is leading in score now) has grown to size 3.

It looks like the map is not strictly mirrored, but it it similar. I'm assuming that that sea goes east a little way - it would be cruel if it did not, since it needs to be 20 tiles for ships and I can only count about 17 that have to be there.

This doesn't look all that nice - desert hill sucks. We'll continue to explore it some, though.



Cap builds a warrior to protect against animals, then the settler, which will get a chop, maybe a whip, as well. mebbe not, since I'll want to get a worker, as well. I have to do some thinking about that.

One thing I didn't show is that I think eastways has found someone else - he's not sending any espionage my way, at least.



B4ndit is still at size 1. Going into this turn, everyone had 1 more tech than me. Cheater hater is size #3.

I presume that everyone has fishing, agri, mining & BW now (everyone has at least 3 hammers) I'm guessing everyone has the wheel, as well.

CH has improved his gems and grown to size 4, so he's killing everyone on the demos.

I'm going to ignore pottery for now and go up mysticism to pick up a religion. I had been thinking meditation, but now I'm thinking Hinduism, making it easier to pick up Org Rel later (and I'll definitely want to do that)

I don't need a granary right now in either city and I don't need a cottage yet, either, though I think I'll go pottery after polytheism. I think I'll hit a religion before anyone, except maybe CH if he is going for one. and he might - he's org, so he might be going for priesthood for Oracle for CoL and cheap courts.

Found something in exploring that makes me debate my 2nd city choice:



That is a nicer 2nd city spot than the fish... but there are 2 issues:

1) I need AH, which means it's tough to get a religion
2) I need another worker before the city.

Now, I'm ok with doing that (sheep on a river gives the fin bonus, which is nice), and frankly, that spot is pretty awesome.

I guess I have some thinking to do. it's either my #2 or my #3 spot, no matter what.

Turn 20 (I missed a couple of days there)



Scouting to the north. Red is the path of the scout, Dark Green is the warrior, orangish is the settler, light green is the worker. I had the worker road the hill, to cut a turn on the journey south by the 2nd settler. That means the gems are 2 turns later, but I'm ok with that. I couldn't speed up the settler to the fish site anyway (crossing rivers).

The purple circle is eastways scout.



I'm going to turn the southern warrior around for more scouting there.

Note that I'm 4 turns to a religion - hopefully, I get it - it's helpful to have one.

More scouting - settler popped out and is heading to the fish. btw - that sea? Exactly 20 tiles Walter White has moved to the gems to improve them. 2 turn worker, then a 1 turn into either a warrior or stonehenge (for a few gold for fail) to grow to size 4 before making settler #2. probably a warrior - I'll need the MP anyway, since I'll want to grow to size 6 at some point.

Hinduism has not yet fallen (I am guessing C-H went pottery->writing), so I hope to get that in next interturn. I plant "Say My Name" next turn and produce Jesse Pinkman. I should get Hinduism after that, if it hasn't fallen, of course.

I'll road to the hill with jesse while growing to size 4 with a warrior and researching AH. Then a settler->finish the warrior. After AH, pottery->priesthood. I think Math is important for this map (lots of forests)

Missed Hinduism by that much!! B4ndit got his 2nd city out, as well. Can't tell if others do, too.

CH got Hinduism, I'm sure. Question is, do I go Buddhism or Judaism? I'm certian C-H is going for Oracle, for CoL.
