T30 - Bronze Working, finally.
Copper, everywhere!! This immediately changes my plans and I cooked up a new, improved micro plan.
We're going to settle the second city on the floodplain instead, giving up the ivory +1H cap tile bonus for first ring copper.
We'll also have cows in the first ring which we'll let the third city work to kick start its growth.
I've sandboxed the next 15 or so turns, and I have to say, playing this map is making me feel a little insane.
Is the strange map throwing me off, is this really going to be the best way to play it? Keep lurking to find out.

T34 - Expansion is under way!
Missed a few updates due to imgur being down yesterday. Anyway Mom's Knife was settled, corn and cows are improved.
Tech is set to Monarchy for that sweet sweet happiness. I will convert to Slavery and Hereditary Rule at the same time.
Pickle was the first to three cities, he plopped down the third one just now. We will probably be trailing in city count for a while.
I could crank out cities faster, but it's also important to have the workers to support them on a map where they grow so damn fast.

I'm now officially the last to three cities, but my Settler is one tile away (too bad the destination is a forested hill )

T39 - Dark Bum, Stonehenge and an alternate timeline?!
We settled Dark Bum. Alarmingly, the live game and sandbox are starting to divert. Well they already did earlier, which is probably the root of the problem. Let's not dive into that. I'll report if the differences cause something to go awry.
Sian built the Stonehenge this turn. That was quite fast. He also has three cities, so solid play there.

T41 - a King, his Slaves, and their Beliefs
Got a free Buddhism spread to Mom's Knife. It has already completed an Obelisk, though I will need it anyway to work two priest specialists when the city is size 7.
We finished Monarchy and revolted to Hereditary Rule and Slavery. Brimstone will grow two sizes and finish a granary while at it, before going back to building settlers and workers.
I don't think I can beat greenline, or "xXx_gOoDpLaYeR_xXx" as he's called in the game, to the rich contested area between us. I guess it'd be pretty greedy of me to want both.

With a name like that I wouldn't be surprised if he tries to 360 no scope you!

T46 - Everything is bigger in Egypt
My opponents largest cities are size 4 or 5. Pickle and greenline just planted their 4th cities. Sian is still at three with me.
Mom's Knife is now working two priest specialists for a quick GP.

T50 - Tech X and the tale of the concealed caravan
It's time for a story. I opened the save, presumably late at night judging by the events that followed. Something had gone terribly wrong! Where was my settler? Wait, I'm building a new worker, did I queue up the wrong unit last turn or something? Screw this, I thought to myself, as I lacked the will and energy to revamp the micro plan that I had just finalized the day before. Today I re-opened the sandbox and noticed something peculiar. There too, I was building a worker. Well, I figured I'd just have to play it out, maybe I had truly forgotten what I had planned out. So as I was making moves as close to what I could remember, the game cycles to a unit: a settler. It was right there, on the hill, hidden under a warrior.
We did settle Tech X in the end and everything is on schedule

T52 - Bumbo want land!
We settled Bumbo and finalized the southern land grab. It's pushing it a little bit, but pickle should be doing the same thing to Sian right now since he didn't contest the land between us two.
Fingers crossed that this unknown dude isn't an easily offended war maniac. Those guys are the worst
Next plant will be towards greenline if he hasn't already taken that land.
I rewarded our long-time scouting warrior with a cozy garrison job in Tech X. Sent a fresh one to go ahead of the settler.
When the turn rolled, Tech X got a free Buddhism spread! I don't even have a shrine yet! Speaking of which, I got a Great Priest this turn and he'll build the Mahabodhi soon.
As for our Great People game, we could create another Great Priest from Mom's Knife and burn it on a Golden Age. I've set the city to keep working on that for now. The other thing I want to do is work two scientists for an Academy in the capital.
