We are really close. I noticed that he has gypsum connected already. Did he move to settle? Likely worker improved given his low power. Offered DoF since I really dont need him to mess-up my builder+settler. Scout saw city, dont really care since it means free culture once I get a warrior and slinger to defend.

So I was correct in that Grot opened worker first because of quarried gypsum and now I believe he will send out a settler. Will he actually plant his 2nd city on the south? Doubt it due to lack of production resources and 4fh tiles. I will send scout W to clear the fog, then SE to clear rest of fog, then scout south.

As to craftsmanship and military tradition, the turns will be
T16: Quarry and warrior attack
T17: Farm and warrior rest
T18: Move to jungle and warrior promote
T19: Plantation and warrior hopefully clears camp.

The spearman attacked out. Unexpected so this will delay MT by 1 turn. TBS grew to 3 and I take it that everyone else is building a settler? Tech was set to complete irrigation EOT.

Looks like the barb warrior got tired of chasing Grot's warrior. I retreated my warrior SW for a better defensive bonus. Looks like Grot grew to 3 also and made a warrior. Everyone else teched 2 science and 1 civic and is size 2 except marcopolo who only teched 1 science.

Ok thank you for that insight. It does explain why I am so low in lux in SP playthroughs. Got a 2nd save today so we are still averaging 1t/day. Not much happened so far. It does mean that the sugar site is very important. Now still wondering what to build in the 2nd city first. Worker that will take a while or a slinger to head south.



Alham got his 2nd civic (still size 2) and everyone else is at 1 civ, 3 pop, 2 tech while marcopolo is still at 1 civ, 2 pop, 1 tech. Is he beelining holy sites?



CMF got his 2nd civic. Changed to agoge. kept UP. Now next turn I will switch from the 1/3 to the 3/1 wheat and will still complete settler in same time.

Not much going on right now. Is that a different scout? Sigh I am going to need military. Alham got his 3rd civic and marcopolo got 2nd civic before 2nd tech. I guess his start only needed 1 tech to improve 3 tiles?
Did lock down campus. My theory actually is that the ideal # of cities is 8~9 and I will lock down 3 campus ASAP.
