Is that character a variant? (I just love getting asked that in channel.) - Charis

Ministry of Silly Walks

Considering our prior plan to post something silly in the Email thread, I was amused by this:

Lewwyn Wrote:T</3

lol

Obviously not going to post anything in response there for making it more of a spoiler, but I must say that was clever. Well played Lewwyn. lol

Sorry for being dense, but I don't get the joke... huh

Remove the slash and the t and what do you get? Then put the slash back in.

Or at least that's how I interpreted it. Took me a while to figure out too.

Lewwyn's post and city-name gave me a chuckle lol

That being said, he's sandbagging his position. If Beijing wasn't going to go legendary by the time we hit, he would have moved those Great Artists off to a backup city by now. He also wouldn't bother scraping together every last obsolete unit to hold the city. It's gonna be close.

"<3" and "</3"? Maybe I'm missing context smile.

Speaker births a Great Engineer. Two GGs are born abroad (One belonging to Sulla/Sunrise, the other probably to Lewwyn), and one of Team #1's GGs bites the dust (Vercingetorix, Medic III Cuir/Cavalry present during the fighting around Kararomum B). Looks like there's a battle going on. [Image: popcorn.gif]

Team #1 might be pulling through for us after all hammer

Guess what?

Whatever they're doing is not threatening enough to Milkshake to prevent Lewwyn from moving 65 Indian military units into Beijing this turn.

How big is their force now? Well, the easiest way to now count it is F5. All the units on the list below, with the exception of the trireme and FW, are in the city of Beijing.

223 Military Units in all yikes

Most worrisome, there are 41 CKNs in that stack, almost two for every machine gun we're fielding.

So...yeah. That's the biggest army I have ever seen in an MP game.

Let's kill as much of it as we can hammer

For Death and Glory!

Honestly, that's all I have to say at this point.

Team #1 researches Electricity, and Sunrise births a GM in insta-lock. Best guess is that between that engineer they birthed a few turns ago, the physics GS, and this guy, they're going to start a golden age for Sulla. Hope I'm wrong on that one, Sulla is going to be extremely scary in a GA. Thank god MoM is banned.
