Um, what? I prodded you on N1 to start talking, but here's what I wrote on you today:

As an aside I think his suggestion of staying more quiet, to minimize noise in the game thread, is also a valid approach to the game. At least for 20+ player games, the size of the game thread tends to become a real problem.
I have to run.

His post is great? Really Gaz? You 2 going to be next annoying "I would rather lose than lynch my brother friend"-duo?
First he makes an excuse that he doesn't vote as many time as others but still neglects the fact that he has not tried to find scum or giving reads on people. Votes are a small part of that. But this is the first time he even remotely gives some reads about people.
So Shadeun please continue in that direction. Make observation, question people and give your reads. As it looks like you won't hang today anyway.

It makes points, sure, but most of them miss the mark in some way.
The rebuttal to Rowain's "you have no content in your posts" is "I vote less, and this is why that's justified". Sure, the point itself is a decent one (imo. I know there are a few who will disagree), but it doesn't actually respond to the challenge.
On the other hand, the rest of the post does. So, I suppose?
"We should meta early, and hard." Not going to be the most popular opinion around here, in general. And it could just as easily be argued that Shadeun is so quick to crack down on anyone who assumes this game has any semblance to, well, Werewolf, precisely because he is in such a faction and wants the focus to be entirely on this 'cult' that we only have one passage to base their existence on. Sound crazy? Do do his 'conclusions'.
Thoughts on others: everything other than the Agnes-Jabbz thing has already been covered by someone. So that's one good point, and four we've seen already, generally stated and argued better - other than the first, which has really only been previously covered by Shadeun himself.
On the other hand, the general theme of the posts is 'ernest new player'.
Raises my town-lean on Shadeun from 'doesn't look like he's being coached' to 'trying hard, just badly'. Which is in no way a reason to lynch a new player early. Or late, if he improves. And he's been doing decently at the improving so far.

Shadeun, what do you mean when you say I seem content to stay on the back foot? You seem to be advocating quite a laid-back approach yourself.

In which case, uh... good to see you attempting to provide actual content, Shadeun. It's not very good content, sure, but the effort is there, and now you've some experience so next time you should be even better!

Good point. I am still willing to lynch Fenn. Agnes as another suspect at the back of my mind.
This was my first chance to post today, and I have to run again. I should be around later, though.
If you know what I mean.

About Shadeun:
That's the reason for voting Mattimeo Day 1
(March 17th, 2015, 07:31)Shadeun Wrote: Wanted to get in on the action. My first read on the game seems to be that day 1 is a lot of talk and reasoning from it will probably result in believing misinformation.
His lots of claims & counterclaims about meta possibilities make him seem dangerous.
Also, I imagine him calling me out early for waiting 18 hours to post before the game had really started suggested he might be the first to start up the 'lynch the noob' hype train.
Of course, in saying this, I've probably just kick started the train myself...

Which, now I think of it, leads me to ask why you keep asking about something for which my motive (being new) was so transparent. Deflection?
(March 17th, 2015, 09:42)Shadeun Wrote: My reasons could perhaps be more clear.
1. It seemed petty / baseless to vote for me for being tardy. I 'returned the favour' by voting for him
2. I felt like he was pointing the finger. And that (in my zero online WW experience) seemed suspicious. Increasing my want to vote for him
So that's the reason why he voted Matt day 1. And today he still proclaims that he would lynch Matt.
He plays the "I'm a noob"-card quite often .

Sleeping in approx. 2 mins. Will be awake an hour and a half or so before lynch. Plenty of time to work out if I agree with the case on someone who has a remote chance of dying - or emphatically disagree with the case on someone who's at risk of dying.
