Pictures from T59 (after ending turn):
We founded Bull Market and four workers and another settler in the area. Next turn two of them can road the cows, two of them can mine the forested hill. That lets the settler reach the next site faster. Bull market will get to 6/14 food. The turn after we can pasture the cows with two workers (I already put one turn into the pasture) and complete the mine/chop (I already put one turn into it). That lets Bull Market complete the granary and reach 10/14 food.
We have a work boat coming from Gold Rush to hook up the clams, so Bull Market should keep growing quickly. The workers should head further down the arm to road to the next city and chop out workboats and a granary.
We have a settler returning from the Kyan expedition. I'm thinking we could send him over land down our southwestern arm and board the galley we have down there, and settle one of our western islands. The filler cities aren't urgent to settle, and I don't think we'll be building that many settlers in the short term, because:
We discovered Metal Casting and our cities want to grow. Forges and Markets are in order. I think Investment and Trading Post should start Forges. We might consider going for a Colossus build in Investment, for fail gold, or in case Rego gets complacent.
I have to run.
