So, do I understand your last sentence right that you actually realized that yourself but just wanted to come up with a reason why not to vote Tasunke because you doubt that vote?

What I'm saying is that maybe I'm rationalizing a bit because I'm having doubts about Tasunke and would like to have a logical reason for switching off him.

Well, reasons to vote for him as I see it:

- claimed Ryan to be innocent and has still not explained that (he stated it was told him in his PM what if we don't expect that BRick lied to us and included Masons or Bloodbrothers or some such has to be a lie)
- his "joking" post in the setup-thread which is still lingering there somewhere

Gun proposal:
We vote for who is to be shot with the gun. The person with the gun must follow the village will. This makes the gun equivalent to extra village lynches.

The gun is passed on completely at random. The person with the gun does not reveal themself.

If the person with the gun does not follow the will of the village, then the person who passed the gun on to them reveals their identity and their life is forfeit.

Potential Advantages:
Village get extra "lynches".
Hard for the scum to subvert. If scum get gun, there should be a chain of villagers who can work back through it, catching a scum.
Not subject to the usual vig problems of whim. If there is a bad shot, it is the responsibility of the whole village.

Potential Problems:
If the scum get the gun, they might judge that bonus kills is worth one of their lives. Particularly if the person who they are ordered to gun is a scum.
If scum get gun, they will pass it to another scum rather than passing it randomly, so the chain requires that the first person to pass on the gun to scum is alive.
Somebody may end up being ordered to shoot themselves.


I'm bringing this up because I think it's workable, but not quite implementable at the moment with the current risks(and also because maybe I'll die, so I might not have much more time to think on it). Does anybody have further ideas to minimize the risks? A multi-shot vig could be a powerful weapon for the village.
