[SPOILER]The Acquiline Empire - GE's ode to "The Eagles"

Turn 9 - 3460BC

Ah-ha!! A Warrior's been built, better move PaulH away for his own safety.. Slight detour on his way south ... and ... yes, we are at war with The Warchief [Kyan] rolf

Switched to working the plains hill this turn.

Completed Mining @ EOT, now on 51 points. Hmm, interesting; BW will complete in 7 turns, not 9 as previously planned huh GNP is up 2 to 21, not working any more Commerce tiles, so again huh
PBEM12 - Shaka of Inca [6/6*] PBEM18 (Apps) - Augustus of China [4/4*] PBEM31 - Hannibal of Greece [jnt2-4/5*] PBEM72 - Willem of Oranje - Dutch [3/4*] PBEM74A -Catherine of Babylon [4/4][*ended early]

Answer to both of these is prerequisite bonus.

So that would explain how someone appeared to be out-Commercing me a short while back then, NOT working a Water tile duh

Turn 10 - 3400BC [actually played over 1 hour ago, forum's been "busy"]

PaulH had to head a touch South to avoid finishing adjacent to dazed's new warrior - think he's trying to scare me off, hint taken rolf At least he's not heading North, for now shhh

Switched to the Rice this turn.

Hmmm ... Commodore also got 6 more points last turn [Celiazul did so the turn before me, forgot to report it] On a whim I looked at the top cities list & noticed that someone has grown to size 3, could that be Commodore? or was that Celiazul? Didn't bother to look last turn duh {wait a minute, i could reload the previous turn & see, is that allowed? If so, I'll report back later] Whoever did grow is working a Water tile to get extra Commerce, or is the 22C [compared to my 21] due to a pre-req'd tech? Or both?

Turn 11 - 3340BC

[opened turn 9, no size 3 city showing so it must be commodore who grew]

OM! Dazed's 2nd warrior is heading North-West!! Could just be defogging, but PaulH is now tasked with shadowing it whilst also doing his own uncovering. Must get to the choke-point first otherwise he'll be cut-off.

Justification for growing to size 3 whilst building a Warrior me thinks. Then a Settler. On that note, switched to Deer tile this turn.

Turn 12 - 3280BC

[according to gmail; 3 turns received within 12 hours! What a pace!!]

As I've not ben countermanded, I'll stick to my post-11 plan then. Worker [bugger, should've been named Steve Coppell duh] is improving the Deer first.

Dazed's Warrior is still on a North-Westerly heading, with PaulH shadowing until he can nip past. At least I'll feel better knowing we'll have a Warrior [Kenny Sansom] fully entrenched if he does come knocking.

Turn 13 - 3220BC

Dazed's Warrior has turned directly north, so obviously not just defogging, PaulH should be able to slip past next turn:

Remembered to name the Worker as Steve Coppell

Commodore got another 6 points last turn, must be a tech [or unit?] as no further increase in city size.

Gained sight of Dazed's graphs @ EOT, will switch some points onto Kyan next turn:

Units don't give points. Only population, techs, land and wonders do.

Warrior will reach our borders in 8 turns. Agree with needing to have 2 warriors out before we start our settler. 3 more turns before we know where our copper is.

2? Ah, yes, need escort for Settler duh Will factor one in and speed it up by working Plains Hill, instead of Rice, when @ size 3
