[SPOILERS] Hashoosh goes for a Carribean (von Alder) Creutz

Hm, just realized I'm still stupid. It's actually 8hpt with just 1 pop working the plains tile, so yeah, 9 turn Moai after chops.

And if we overflow from some whips it'll be even better!

Eventually that ivory site might be worth settling but I don't think that's high on our priority list. Same goes with the moai statues. The fish can be worked with another city so ivory site doesn't bring a new food resource supposing there isn't something in the fog. Of course it's good to plan these too, but expansion should be our first priority right now. Ivory resource can be useful with happiness though and the RBmod war elephants while not OP like in BTS could be very useful countering mounted warfare.

The gold east of us is definitely interesting. If there's a good food resource nearby maybe that could be the 2nd city? Anyway where's our scout now? 4W of our cap? I think scout should continue in circle around our cap revealing interesting resources to help us decide 2nd city location.

One little thought about our micro plan: what if our workers would both go to chop the same forest, getting it chopped earlier? That would lead to getting settler 1T earlier at the price of 2 lost workerturns. I think it could be worth it. What would we be doing with both chops anyway? One chop would finish the settler already.

There's that too, but the micro's a little rough right now because we aren't accounting for which direction we want to settle in, and so where to put down a road to speed up settling by a bit, making up that delay in building the settler.

Yeah, I was just spitballing what I thought could be a potential Moai site. The problem with that ivory is we'll have to build a fort or settle on it to get it hooked. I think we'd like to settle on it. The fishfood to the east is in a location that has cows+wet rice too (where our best second city spot is atm), so it wouldn't hurt it badly to split off.

Scout's 7W of cap right now, 2N of that wines tile. He'll be turning around to circle the cap by going 1E of the wines, and then moving south of our visible radius. He'll have it scouted before we have to worry about sending a settler into the fog lol

Plus, no barbs, so there's always that for consolation.

Or we could settle 1W of the marked spot. Means less overlap with the cap but getting the happiness resource earlier might be worth it.

?

That happiness is unavailable until maths or we settle on it, moving 1W won't speed up hooking.

Scout's standing on the wines. Probably go SE-S or SE-SW next turn.

Sry my bad, forgot that we couldn't connect the ivory.

Haha don't worry about it. Unfortunately it looks like the tiles east of the gold are tundra/ice (the arctic wind plays when you zoom in over there). So we may not get a good food source for the gold city. Other than the cap's wheat if we settle that way.

So an overhead shot of the land

And a zoom in of the scout's position right now

That desert tile 1E of Grass sheep looks like another good spot. I'm inclined to go for the coastal 2nd city though.
