Hey. Yeah, if your new mod has up to 50 players in a game, I'd need to make a Civ4 MC "mod" for it. Basically, just something that says to fill in up to 50 blank slots in the save file. I could do it, if there's any interest.

All mods that we are running now have 52 players. Even a standard BtS game will have to use PBmod with the same amount of players.

I could do it, if there's any interest. In the PBMod, I've changed the WBSave no allow the loading of Files with a non-matching number of players. This works in both directions (fills up undefined slots and remove surplus entries) and shifts the BARBARIAN_PLAYER id. https://github.com/civ4-mp/pbmod/blob/ma...vWBDesc.py Nevertheless the WBSave loader of Civ4 has still plenty room for improvements. The parser is not very robust and e.g. changes on civivs, techs, promotions in mods often breaks the compatibility with scenario files. |
