Is that character a variant? (I just love getting asked that in channel.) - Charis

Incase its not obvious, the 9.9% chance at beating his morale-super axe would have been amazing, but i was really just hoping to damage the axe enough that my spears could hit the chariots. Probably futile as my understanding of the combat system seems to get worse and worse as time goes on.

Well i took another chance to try and get out of this mess... killed his super axe at 30% odds Finally.

What was my reward? Oh nothing special just:

2.9% chance of losing vs a chariot.

Frustrating, but Surely.... not the END of the world.

2/100 hp remaining on a 99% fight. Thats some straight fuckery.

How i think this will go. Axes will go 1S from their position to threaten BlackHawkDown. WC's will eliminate ( without any hits from my units ) my low hp axe/spear pair. Rome will attempt to block my worker in and try and setup to kill it with their chariot. Ill go to clear it with my archer and the archer will lose vs a scout. My whipped spearman is overwhelmed the following turn from 2 WC's, and a Roman chariot. Probably dying to the first war chariot. Sound about right? banghead

Yeah. And im hopeful that my neighbors get the same RNG.

Why Scooter wants to prevent me from chopping the forest and continuing this war with one of his rivals is beyond me.... he should be trying to interrupt Cornflakes. IMO of course, as im already nearly full tilit at this point. Im betting my spear loses to the first WC. Because, well... why not. I can whip an axe in 2 turns, but that wont be in time to save the city from my normal odds. Especially because Scooter looks like he wants to try and capture/raze it as well as he is pushing a Chariot... an Axe, and an archer up.

Can... my misery be over? At least scooter didnt make me hate his guts by forcing me to decide between deleting my worker, and removing my 25% fortified archer to kill a scout... Still douchy though. cry

If Scooter wasnt currently trying to interfere.. id have chopped a forest with my worker which would have netted me an extra archer or something to survive this. Instead, he is being annoying with his chariot. Plus that stack of axe/archer continues to move closer.... and closer...

Oh, and Yuri has upwards of 70% chance according to my tests to just take the capital with his current stack. Im betting he razes it. I think he kinda has to....

Will he lose any units to take my capital? Will Cornflakes win by concession while these two feast on my remains? Stayed tuned!

Any kind lurker:

This pitboss depends so much on what the other players have done... umm, if units can be moved into the capital... please do so.( not counting city 2's ) Promo heal if need be to common sense promos. If we magically cannot lose any units/cities... eliminate troops in our culture starting with Yuri's if we have the odds... ( 70%+ )

Thanks!!

2 WC's of Yuri's retreated... at less than 1% odds of winning. Sigh. Whatever combat hack that Yuri is using, i need it. I moved my Axe/Spear stack to the only tile where they could still hit Yuri's units if he plays wrong, but at this point i expect that it doesnt matter and Cornflakes should honestly just be conceeded to. Yuri isnt going to win from his position.. and Rome chose the weakest start and has Bowmen and Boudicca of America as neighbors... so Praets are worthless ( plus not AGG )

Can we call it now and start another one? Early game combat is bananaz.

Let it be known that if i hear ANY complaining about RNG from Yuri, ill probably snap.

This is only the.... 3rd? 4th? time he has won a astronomically low odds fight.

I think my only "holy shit i won?!" was my 30% fight vs his GG Axe. But 30% vs.... .8%-1.5% fights...? UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Yeah. Dont be surprised if i go off on these low shit odds.

Luckily... i managed to hold my 2 cities. Although i lost 2 roads, my Fur camp, and my wheat.. So... yay?

Small update. Ive hooked up iron, ive begun chopping a forest to help push out some swords, and low-and behold... I see something coming MY way from Rome.

This is clearly one of 2 things. A settling party for MY shitty island to the west, OR an attempt to grab a city off of me. Either way i should be able to whip my 2nd city for a galley and block it and force it to take a really bad odds fight ( which will probably be a flawless win ) Rome is making me want to hope that Yuri doesnt pressure me for a sec, so i can take his city.

Cornflakes has won this game. Can. We. END. IT PLEASE??
