Are you guys good with me offering CFC our next great person in exchange for a long (50-60ish turns) NAP? I'd present it as an alternative to their request for a city for a NAP.
I don't think it'll work, but honestly, a great person is more powerful than a single city anyway, so if they were actually serious about wanting one, they might just take that.

Scooter, we can hang up the phones now, I think. No way cfc pulls out of this.

I haven't been following til, um, roughly 8 hours ago but is there any possibility of getting these guys in a chat? Always feel like its much easier to get the truth out that way.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

The offer was made via chat. I've been chatting with all 3 of these teams pretty incessantly, they're probably tired of me.

They aren't even drafting right now, so I disagree. And I don't believe in ever hanging up the phones, even when war is declared.

Scooter, I'm very comfortable with you offering the GPerson, and would even be fine with a city if the border city didn't have the Globe in it. Considering how hard it will be to try and defend both flanks, removing one of the stronger two enemies is incredibly valuable.
I also definitely agree CFC is least committed so far - they're banking gold right now, that's much more versatile than drafting their civ down.

I prefer to keep the phone lines open too. It makes it a lot easier to taunt and/or berate the opposition. It's more fun to shout when you're shouting at someone.

Thanks, like I said, bit out of the loop.

Perhaps it's worth pointing out to Apolyton/CivPlayers that CFC so far seems to be content with letting the others do most of the heavy lifting? It probably won't do very much, but every opportunity we can use to drive a wedge between them is worth considering right now. And yeah, keep pushing CFC for a NAP extension. They are probably the most likely of the three to accept our offers right now.
Oh, and letting CivFr know that CFC is going for cannons would be good too. They'll probably don't respond as per usual, but perhaps it'll make them consider doing something with their army other than pay its maintenance cost.
And third, perhaps it is an option to flat out tell Universciv that if they do nothing this war and we perish, the gains that the dogpilers will get out of it basically ensures that Universciv won't have the land or the resources to be a contender for victory anymore.
