Is that character a variant? (I just love getting asked that in channel.) - Charis

[SPOILERS] Asoka of Aztec (DMOC/Nakor)

Yes, seems like Poly might be the way to go if others target meditation. Of course, no way to really tell, methinks.

Poly it is then.

Here is what our warrior moving east found:

And our scout near Kublai (going to make him return home and head SW, ok?)
You can see Kublai has Fishing. Did he research that? Have to look at page 1.

And this is our Capital:

Now, as you can see, a Settler takes only 5t. That probably means that a chop will go to waste a bit if we start next turn. Do we put 2 turns into a warrior first and grow to size 4, start a chop and build a mine? Or do we go for the settler as planned?

Went ahead with the turn and decided to go Warrior first. Takes 1 turn, so I might slip in another scout and wait for Calculus to grow to size 4 before starting the settler. Then we'll have a 2 or 3 turn settler with a chop. We can build/whip a second settler straight afterwards.

BW came in at EOT and look at this:

I just moved a worker there to start a mine! lol

Nice. lol

I'm hesitant to whip the first settler, since that will bring the capital down to size 2, but we can whip the second settler.

So our production can go like this:

Settler (1 chop, maybe 2) at size 4, then another settler immediately after with a whip, and then put overflow into warriors.

Just a turn of scouting. Decided to put just 1t into Stonehenge instead of in a scout... hit me for it!

Poly took 7 turns, but after growth to size 4 at eot, it was just 5 more turns...

Another turn. Settler started, warrior moving towards the fish site.
And scouting....

Putting 1t into stonehenge is fine. I do it frequently for a few turns if I want the capital to grow to a certain size.

Settler started - how many chops can we do? Or should do? I think 1 would be enough for now.

What are the workers doing after they mine copper? Or are they split up?

We've got 1 worker mining the copper and the second one chopping a forest on a hill. That chop and copper mine should be enough to finish the Settler in 3T. Do we double whip a second settler straight away or do we 1-pop whip a third worker and grow back on Warrior - Henge before going for a second settler?

Another turn with not a lot of news. Maybe some screenshots next turn of the scouted land. Settler will take 2 turns, since we miss 2 hammers... bang

I'd do another settler. I like to get a nice core of 3 close cities developed quickly.
