my current map

although after i took them i shuffled a bit around with the tiles so i could research BW in 2 turns even on 80% (sustanied) by letting Dragonball Z work the horses and Love Hina (at least for a single, prehaps 2 turns) working FP and Cows)

the Worker is moving to Horses to Pasture/road, while the warrior there is moving to the Pigs up near fierce for lookout duty. The warrior being built in DBZ is planed to go check the NE coastal, to figure out where the city upthere should be placed

would it be viable to whip a settler after the worker is built in LH or would it be better to grow to size3 first?

the Scout to the south is continuing to check out the Jungles there looking for a good spot for the warrior down-there to be on lookout duty

started pasturing the horses and shuffled a bit around with the tiles again (since i'm getting BW in 1 turn) so i'm working both cows (from DBZ), rice and a FP ...

what to research next? ... gut feeling says aiming at Fishing for the clams at DBZ and a workboat for exploration duties

oh ...and checking the screen after the turn shows that we have copper on the desert hill we started at, and looking on 'top-5 cities' says that Fierce allready is size 4 ... good news through is that we're 1 on Land tongue

the worker being built in LH starts with finishing the road to DBZ and then it should proberly go mine the copper followed by roading towards whereever the next city is going to be (south, southwest i'd say)

Scout Died to the south to a Panther

LH finished building a Worker, now building a Warrior, working Rice and Cows, and afterwards it'll build a settler for a city down South-Southwest since DBZ is cleanly cutting off access between north and south (initial point is 4s1w of the capital but i have a warrior going down there to check if there's a good place somewhere south of the pigs, which will spilt the current city mark into two ... on the Incense 4s of cap and somewhere on the egde of the jungle)

DBZ finished warrior, and sent it to explore to the NE for seafood, and is starting another warrior, working (pastured) horse to it grows and finishs the next at the same point as Fishing comming in (3 turns), where it'll build 2 Work Boats (would it be worthwhile whipping the first one) for clams and exploring.

The reason i'll build a Boat for exploring is that i find the number of small islets seeable (the two mountains specificly), and that i've found opponents to the NW and SW. It makes me guess that the map is two 'rows' of 3 players each and that there is some kind of offshore islands which just might be worthwhile making a grab for between each player in each row (so, north of us, south of us and west of us)

Nothing interesting happened the last couple of turns, finished fishing and started building a settler in LH (to be whipped) and the first Workboat in DBZ (to be whipped as well) ... after that i should probably build a workboat more in DBZ and a Chariot in LH, followed by Graneries in both (just started teching Pottery, which is likely going to be followed by Writing so i can start spamming Liberies

Wondering something through ... where should my next city go

My initial idea would be #3 or #4 (#8 is good but to much Jungle atm)

On the long lane, i'd proberly make #2 early on as well since its a great GPfarm

Nice to see that everything is going smoothly, Sian (I saw the comment in the tech thread) thumbsup.

I'm already spoiled for the game, because I really don't have the time, nor the ability, to help you much. But keep us informed!

Good Luck!

Settler is done (didn't even whip since Copper Mine was finished so LH was hammering out 14h/t which is more than a 1pop whip) ... going to put a single turn into a Chariot and then build a Granery (followed by finishing the chariot), and then it'll get on Worker*/Settler* duty

NE is explored fully and there is no seafood, so city 1 is finalized to be the Plain Hill 1e of Copper (allthrough it'll probably be a backfill city since it doesn't have anything earthshattering) and looking at the map city 5 might be shifted 1e (directly south of the fishes, gaining two hills ...

Been toying around with placement of city sites 3 and 8, ending up believing that placing city 3 on the incense would be a smoke move, since its to food poor (only a clam) to pay back any time soon, so i've moved it back (again) 1w (going to use the two clams and depending, the pigs), shunting site 8 into the middle of the jungle (jury is still out on weather on the phants or on the hill between current spot and phants is best)

Changed the tile setup in DBZ to work Clam first for faster pop, going to change again next turn to Rice (which by then is farmed), rushing the city to size 3 (or 4 ... not really certain yet)

Current Tech is Pottery(in after next turn) -> Writing -> Iron Working

not much happened ... built Air Gear at #3 (being able to work 2clams and pig in near'ish future) building a WB firsthand supported by the chop of the grassland hill forest 2s of LH, and microed as many hammers into the overflow for a worker from LH after the Chariot is done, which shaved the worker i'm likely to build next turn down to 3 turns ...

noticed something interesting through while i was scanning the fog

i'm counting coast, desert, desert, mountain, coastal ... allthrough the deserts could just as well be FPs ... in hindsight i should probably have taken it from the other side, since that would be easier to see

Thanks for the updates! We're watching, no worries. I'm obviously a bit spoiled on the map, so I'm withholding most commentary. Nice move on #3 though, glad you saw it!
